Everyone is charged and excited and it’s great to see this level of enthusiasm. First time in a long long time.

It’s gotten so that I’m actualy excited to see Ozil next year. Am I crazy or is it possible that he plays well in our new set-up.

I fully agree. Its been ages since summer signings have brought this type of enthusiasm. Hopefully the fans will cease their negativity and back Emery, the team, the directors and the owners.

People lost confidence in Emery because of what they saw for themselves and all the positive talk in the world won't win people's confidence back in Emery only he himself can win back confidence by showing people he is capable of change and then he will ultimately win back those fans for himself lost that he and his philosophy lost.
Last season we became the first team since Newcastle in 2011/ 12 to finish top 6 despite conceding more chances than we created over an entire season and no side has ever yet finished top 4 by conceding more shots than they themselves created.
This is the reality not negativity and it's up to Emery to change the reality if he wants to change how people see him, because no one else can.

To loose a game its the end of the world nor have a bad day in the office every now and then but what is awful if the same tactics as last year were used and no improvement defensively then there is only one man to be blamed is the man in charge of the team.
I’m not going to start the new season on a negative mode I will be routing for the team and the manager and be excited for the new season and I bloody hope Emery will keep up my excitement.

I'm 100% hopeful of seeing a different Arsenal this season Moe mate, but like you say it's always the management that sets out the way he wants things done and it's up to him to get the best out of his team and produce performances that make people happy.
It's only Emerys second season so it's not unreasonable to hope he's learned from the mistakes of his first season and acts accordingly to address them and wins back or wins over his doubters.
New season new hope for sure and hopefully all the negativity that came from last seasons showing can soon be forgotten all about.
Next Sunday the time for talk will be over and chance for Emery and his team to set a new posivtive wave to carry us into the future will be here.

Last season we finished with more points than the season before. We finished a place higher than the season before. We closed the gap on top place. We closed the gap on the Toot down to a solitary point. We reached the EL final. Considering Emery inherited a weak squad and suffered season ending injuries, he did reasonably well. The negativity is unfair and the signings to date and hopefully a couple more look promising for the forthcoming season.

From the way he’s been talking on his interviews he seems to know that we have a problem, but I doubt he wants to point the finger at Mustafi or any other players especially if they are up for sale or if we suck with them. But we definitely needed a winger and we got one, we needed a replacement for ramsey and we got one on loan until Guendouzi is 100% ready for that role as well as Smith-Rowe. If we address the defence this window than he doesn’t have any scape route. And I think the board will be looking at it the same way. I want to optimistic about this season and so far I’m looking forward to it.

Obviously all new signings being attacking players so far and reports of training still being very heavily focused on scoring with little work done on preventing goals doesn't make his claim to be concerned about our defensive weaknesses look all that credible Moe but all will be revealed next Sunday at St James Park, a clean sheet on opening day would be a very welcome confidence booster and 1 or more goals at the other end would be an excellent start.
I'm hopeful of Emery changing my mind about his capabilities starting next Sunday but not yet confident about his appreciation for the importance of defending well.

RG if you call last season improved season then mate it shows your ambition and knowledge of football mate, and aren’t you tired of the of the same story on what Emery inherited. We had times when we had a much worst team than this and still managed to make a top 4, remember chamak and denilson and co. I don’t know I hope you’re right tho. let's see this season how will go and I guess no blaming anyone from now on, right?
