With a bid accepted for Pepe it's strange we did not bid the same amount for Zaha.
Pepe stats in France are great but no doubt Zaha would have similar if he played in the same lge.
Will be interested to hear peoples views on who they think is the better player and how Pepe style is different to Zaha.
Does Pepe's style suit us better?
Anyone hear watch lge 1?

He's probably the best player in the French league after Mbappe and Neymar. Scored bags of goals last season along with lots of assists. Very fast with close control. Excellent player and would be a quality signing.

He’s twice the player Zaha is and far more suited to our needs in my opinion. At times looks like a one man counter attack, much like Zaha, and considering our struggles in away games that’s no bad thing. The key difference is end product, Pepe has an excellent array of finishes in his locker from inside and outside the box and he’s a really decent provider. Expect all teams bar none to be scared of A-L-P next season in a 433.

I like Zaha and would have been happy if we'd got him but we've got Pepe and he's so much more than many dreamed possible all summer with the fictional 40 million being reported.
