A second Tierney bid of 25 million has been rejected by Celtic, 25 million is a Scottish record bid so it's most likely the terms of payment that is now the sticking point.
Talks are continuing so it still looks like the move may well happen.

It’s to do with how much we are paying up front theybwant more than what we have offered.

If reports are correct, it’s not the amount, but the payment schedule that is now the problem. Knowing our current negotiating team, it’s £50 down and balance paid monthly over the next decade!

So you think Celtic want more than £50 down and a cheeky weekly £1 a week? :-.
I'm pretty sure the differences will be sorted an amicable agreement will be reached.
With football it's so easy to get detached from the reality of how huge a sum of money 25 million especially when you add on agents fees ect but it will be somewhere close to half the season tickets revenue for next season, which I think puts the money into a little more perspective for people like me who can't really comprehend what 25 to 30 million really means in football terms.

Of course the finances are not simple and the amounts are huge, but reports keep emerging during the window that indicate that we are pushing our luck. My comment was, of course, tongue in cheek.
I have a feeling we will agree a deal for Tierney and I read that our medical team are on the way to Brazil to carry out a medical on Everton Soares. I don’t know anything about him, hopefully Edu does! On U tube he seems to get hacked down and spends a lot of time on the floor.
