With our defence as bad as it is. it got me thinking.

In the youth setup throughout the club. Do the coach’s in training and games not try building a proper partnership (telepathic almost) between two or three CB’s?

I mean I dunno for me it seems logical to be building a young solid partnership from within, training them and playing them together always, till they become 1 n then bleed them into the 1st team together, rather than loaning them out all the time.

Like for me now I’d be working outa Bielik, Holding (I know he’s been injured) and Mav trying to build a formidable partnership.

Mate my stepson (16 now) was at Arsenal from 5 until 11, one of the reasons he left is because the arsenal youth do not feel part of the club! Under Liam Brady they would get tickets for the games, go on tour and players would visit them. After Brady left this all stopped. They train in Walthamstow, they never get invited to games and never met a single player in the last 3 years he was there. Unfortunately the spuds poached him for a while after and it’s a very different story, I hate to say.

Good stuff 373, my nieces son has just singed a professional contract with Peterborough, he's 18.
Hopefully it's just a beginning for him and he will move up the leagues, he's a DM so there is a real chance he could be a gooner one day, according to Sky his already had his Arsenal medical, twice:-)
