With lukaku going to inter I’ve got a horrible feeling pea is off to utd, if we do that then we are an absolute joke of a club.

Agree0 Disagree2

I've no idea if that is likely, but I'd find it understandable if we did. He's 30, so it'll be our last chance to make money on his sale. He was in terrible form for the last half of the season, and though he can find that again, if utd get a poorly performing PEA, then we'd be the beneficiaries. We need some cash to help with our transfer strategy, so if you want to see anything above the signing of Tierney this summer, we've got to be realistic I think.

For me, IF (key word if) this were to happen the way we as fans would have to look at it would be largely dependent on the fee received and how the money is redistributed within the squad. PEA is a great striker and one of our best players without a doubt. But, he is now 30 meaning his value is only going to decrease from here and we do already have Lacazette in the squad. Given most modern teams only play with one up top, if we were to get 70/ 80 million for PEA and get in players who can fit better into Emery's system it wouldn't be the worst bit of business. Having said this, I do completely understand the whole "don't sell your best players to your rival's" argument, but I'm just trying to look at the situation a little bit more pragmatically.

What did Ormstein say about Pea and Torreira mate?
I know it seems like a natural solution for United to look a Pea to replace Lukaku but I'm still not convinced United are going to carry on with the pay over the odds no matter whatever it cost indulgences of Lvg and Jose, it's got them absolutely nowhere since Fergie went.
We would want to drain every last penny from United especially for Pea as we wouldn't be prepared to help them leap frog us on the cheap I'm sure.
Wait and see is my advice because I'm totally convinced Pea will still be an Arsenal player next season.

I wouldn't believe that about aub, if you sign Tierney for the 25 million price that's being talked about, for me that would be 1 good signing.

While I believe we may be open to a sale, the Man Utd link came from an Italian source in relation to the Lukaku to Inter deal. They just put it out there that Utd would look to PEA to replace Lukaku should he move. I wouldn't panic.

The only two clubs we can't sell him to are United and Sp*ds.

There is no chance we are going to let Auba join united. What happened when we sold Van Persie to them in 2012? Somehow I don't think we will make that same mistake again regardless of the money involved. If we manage to sign a decent winger as well, he will certainly score more goals than last season. If a club abroad were offering £80m and he wanted to leave, then maybe a deal could be done and we could move on and sign a number of decent signings to improve the squad. United however, not happening.

Hope everyone is doing ok. Time to check in on some rumours. The auba info for me from ornie was fed for a reason. I believe the price is right we cash in and balance the squad

Now I love the guy and wanted him from st Etienne. But not sure the two uptop works for us and two top wingers either side of auba or laca would help both.

I think PEA has got some good years still in front even though he's 30 as he was a late bloomer.

Selling him to united would be a huge mistake in my opinion.
