Thanks Ed. Realistically I think we have a good chance with Saliba and/ or Andersen but i'm not going to get my hopes up just yet.

All over Europe there are at least 50 new transfer rumours generated by all media sources every single day involving premier league clubs or players already in the premier league or those players who are allegedly wanting to come to the premier league.
50 a day, 350 a week, 1500 a month for 3 and half months, so around 5000 rumours each and every summer, but in reality if every premier league clubs signed or sold 10 players each that's only 200 players actually moving into or out of or within the premier meaning 4800 of the 5000 rumours generated will be totally without any foundation at all.
What's that 4% fact 96% total fabrication? Wow that's a lot of time wasted on spam to read through each and every summer when people could quite simply chill out and wait for the Eds or Ormstein to tell them when something is really happening :-)

Mate, we are so desperate to add players and any link will make us the fans click and wish it’s true.
But the most annoying rumour that we are willing to make Xhaka captain so he won’t leave and we are unwilling to sell him. 🤬.

We can only hope that the Xhaka rumour like almost all the others is nothing more than the journos using what they know will excite or upset to attract hits mate.
A Papa as captain story does little to raise pulses or emotions either way but run a story that Xhaka Mustafi iwobi or Chambes will be our captain next season and you instantly provoke outrage and outrage like excitement generates interest and lots and lots of hits.
If it ain't the Eds or Ormstein saying then it really isn't worth worrying about in my experience, Benzema Higguian and other silly nonsense have taught me some good lessons on who is or isn't worth listening to Moe mate.
