Three games left; we'll need to win them all, and hope Chelsea slip up. Sorry for stating the obvious.

UC there is a good chance there will be more slip ups, that's also stating the obvious. Lol. The only thing we can hope we do is win our last three games and see where that leaves us. I think to achieve that we need a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work.

Or just a well coached defence maybe? Sorry for stating the obvious. 😏.

Disappointing result, but Man U and Chelsea play at the weekend, so points have to be dropped, whilst we still have a better goal difference than both clubs. I don't believe we will need to win all 3, probably 2 wins and a draw would probably be sufficient, as that would leave us on 73 points, and a goal different of at least +12. Man U can reach the same points total if they win all 3 matches and their final 2 are against Huddersfield and Cardiff. Whilst Chlesea could reach 76 points if they win all 3 matches, but they are tricky; Man U (a) , Watford (h) and Leicseter (a) .
Both Arsenal and Chelsea have the added difficulty of EL semis to throw into the mix.
I believe the Leicester match will be crucial, lose and our hopes of 4th are over.

If Chelsea finish 4th on we both reach the EL final does that mean we would qualify for the CL?

{Ed002's Note - Not without winning it.}

More slip ups from us I think.

If we can't beat Palace or Wolves, why would anyone think we can beat Leicester or Burnley away, unless both teams allow their wives/ children to play instead, and even then, it might still be a bit too physical for our gutless team.

Would help if the wall faced the right way on free kicks instead of turning their backs.

4th place is becoming or already has become the good fortune race because niether of the 3 teams involved have had a good season by their own or each othrers standards.
Chelsea United and Arsenal are and always have been (in my living memory) big clubs even if the they haven't always had good or successful teams.
Yes Chelsea and United have been relegated and both known times in the wilderness as have Arsenal when we went from double winners 72 to also rans until George arrived.
All 3 have known worse times but no one can for one minute deny that this season has been of an extremely poor standard by all 3 clubs.
Each are all involved in top 4 chasing by virture of the others incompetence rather than anything that is to be admired.
Sarri is under pressure despite it being his first season and still being in the race for top 4 with 3 games to go and a EL semi final still to play for, he hasn't reached the required standard at Chelsea
Huge questions are being asked about Ole now the feel good factor post Jose has gone, Ole again hasn't reached the required standards at United
And if this standard isn't good enough for Chelsea and United fans why should it be acceptable or worse still seen as successful in Arsenal fans eyes?
Many have forgotten just how big a club we are and if this season is seen by anyone as a good season I think they are one those who have forgotten.
If we are honest we are no further forward than 12 months ago but fortunately for us and Chelsea United are much much worse so a top 4 gap has appeared by good fortune.

62 mate, I think we might still be in the top 4 race because Chelsea and United are having an awful season just like us, if they have been better we will be miles away.
