looks like no lemar and sanchez staying.

gunnerwin

1.) 31 Aug 2017 18:35:19
cant see him staying, Creates negative atmosphere in club surely.

2.) 31 Aug 2017 19:01:33
I agree mate just what sky were saying.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 19:19:10
Wouldnt pay attention to them either, Stories fabricated to create bets. Imagine the atmosphere in our next game. I imagine Kroenke won't be at the game.

28 Aug 2017 20:29:53
I see Jeff Stelling from sky sports saying that liverpool might try to buy sanchez, if they sell Coutinho, how would that make any sense when he wants to leave to win things they win less than us, any thoughts on this? as i don't care at this stage he can go for all I care right now, no player bigger than The Arsenal.

gunnerwin

1.) 28 Aug 2017 20:39:34
Under Klopp Liverpool are on the up and Sanchez is as close as they could hope for to Suarez replacement
Will Liverpool win this season's title? I very much doubt it but with Sanchez they might well get within a few points of it.
Seriously if you was any player right now would you chose Arsenal over Liverpool? No one would with ambition.

2.) 28 Aug 2017 20:46:47
Liverpool are on the way up, players like Sanchez will make them even better.
As a manager, in this instance Klopp, you identify a player who will improve you, in this instance Sanchez, you pay market value, and you sign aforementioned player, and you massively increase your chance of winning things.

Unfortunately, Wenger hasn't quite grasped that concept, despite being paid £10m per season.

3.) 28 Aug 2017 21:30:44
He will only sell to man city or chelski, he won't sell to Liverpool, he sees them as direct rivals for European football. The other two will challenge for the league so they are not our rivals.

4.) 29 Aug 2017 18:52:30
LOL Steve, Our dirct rivals appear to be Brighton and Spurs not any of the TOP 4. Absolute joke.

18 Aug 2017 11:47:19
any truth in the Shkodran Mustafi rumours ed.

gunnerwin

{Ed001's Note - which rumours?}

1.) 18 Aug 2017 13:17:05
I just seen a post saying Sky Italia are reporting that inter have asked Arsenal about him.

{Ed001's Note - ah ok, I don't know but I don't know of any interest in selling him from Arsenal.}

2.) 18 Aug 2017 13:32:03
thanks Ed001, it would seem a strange move imo.

3.) 18 Aug 2017 14:23:52
a loan they were looking for, are they taking the p. or what.

4.) 18 Aug 2017 17:10:38
Must admit I'm surprised. Sky in Italy is saying we rejected it and they are likely to come in with a permanent bid and we are looking too recoup most of what we paid, surely we are not considering selling.

5.) 18 Aug 2017 17:33:39
Paper talk state that he is in talks with Inter Milan over a 34m transfer.

6.) 18 Aug 2017 19:26:00
If we were thinking of letting him go or he was unhappy and wants out surely we wouldn't have sold Gabriel in the same window so for that reason alone it sounds a bit far fetched but if you add the fact they are willing to give us what we paid for him thars really far fetched, he wasn't great last season in the main more average than outstanding imo.

7.) 18 Aug 2017 20:19:19
Only thing i can think is that we are looking to cash in on him for £35mill-ish and invest in Van Dijk. wishfull thinking of course but surley we are not thinking of letting him go otherwise, madness!

8.) 18 Aug 2017 20:54:20
He started ok last season but after Xmas he looked like he was struggling with it all. Still think we won't sell him though.

9.) 18 Aug 2017 23:05:30
And now Arsenal want to re-coop the money the spent and will listen to offers of £35m. let's make our defence worse!

26 Jul 2017 15:52:37
Hi ed's, any truth in Lamar not being for sale now seems likely as they have sold a few players already.

gunnerwin

{Ed001's Note - none of their players were really 'for sale', it was that the bids were too good to reject and the players wanted to leave.}

1.) 26 Jul 2017 16:37:42
thanks for the reply ed02, yes that makes sense, I had a feeling we would not get as they have lost some very talented players already, I hope we don't buy mahrez now he spent most of last season like sanchez thinking he was too good for the team, both their attitudes stink imo.

2.) 26 Jul 2017 16:42:56
sorry ed001.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 16:57:52
I dunno what ed001 opinion on it is but I still think lemar is possible if we offer good enough money. They don't seem the type to say no to a good offer.

04 Jul 2017 22:35:05
I see Metro are now quoting £80 million for Thomas Lemar, it seems if Arsenal are interested the price rockets.

gunnerwin

1.) 04 Jul 2017 22:52:47
I interpret that as Monaco wanting to hold onto him, knowing he will eventually be sold, and seeing if anyone is that desperate to sign him that they'd take the bite - of course if the rumour is true in the first place, I don't think the metro is a credible source personally.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 23:04:55
I agree with you not the most reliable source, just seems likely if we are interested, can't see that happening to be honest.

3.) 05 Jul 2017 01:38:38
If we were playing hard ball for Lacaztte for 45/ 55 mil, we're not going to pay that kind of money for a not yet proven player. Mbappe is slightly different because he's literally the complete striker.

08 Jan 2018 16:22:01
I hope with the players leaving us soon we build our team around Lacazette, most of us wanted him at Arsenal and with the resurgence of jack we have a chance to rebuild if we sort the back out of course, I felt sanchez was reluctant to pass to him at times didn't want to share the limelight imo.

03 Sep 2017 11:54:48
Steve r, I bet you have to live on the ground floor, stay away from bridges and train platforms, you miserable git lol.

gunnerwin

1.) 03 Sep 2017 12:08:53
Realist, thank you very much. Remind me to knock you of my Xmas card list.

2.) 03 Sep 2017 12:25:56
lol, I wouldn't want the xmas card can only imagine the message, merry xmas not in great form, have a cold and the Arsenal are letting me down and so on ha ha, but seriously mate things aren't all that bad at the club and I'm sure it will be sorted soon as all the players will come together to out the problems, you can see some of them are geling together to out the trouble makers, let's hope it is resolved soon.

3.) 03 Sep 2017 12:15:57
Gunnerwin, I challenge you whatever you might say to find fault in what I am saying. Because I have, along with a few others seen what has and is going on for longer than a few others. Who now are realising and saying what we have been banging on about, I don't quite understand you. And you are only stating the obvious anyway, I find your interest in me, when what is going on with our club, strange.

4.) 03 Sep 2017 13:04:26
You forgot to finish with nah na na na nah steve!

5.) 03 Sep 2017 13:39:26
Steve, I see you have a stalker.

6.) 03 Sep 2017 13:56:18
Malaga, I think it's terrible you calling Sanogo a stalker. 😇.

7.) 03 Sep 2017 14:06:52
Steve is very honest.

Oh, and razor blades are banned in his house 😁.

8.) 03 Sep 2017 14:22:59
Ha sharpie, you old goat.

9.) 03 Sep 2017 15:20:14
steve is the original wenger out. fact. also known as nostradamus.

10.) 03 Sep 2017 15:30:45
Steve is already working on the getting Arsenes successor out campaign and will launch it the moment Arsene leaves:-)

11.) 03 Sep 2017 16:56:31
Let's also remember it's not just Sanchez who wants / wanted out, Perez / Mustafi and Ox. there is something very very wrong within our club.

12.) 03 Sep 2017 17:16:22
Derby, I've only wanted Wenger out these last 10 years. lol
No I've really only wanted him gone for the last 3 years. I was obviously dillusional before then. lol.

13.) 03 Sep 2017 17:29:02
Lack of ambition from the club will obviously drive away any player who doesn't feel the same way.
It isn't complicated, horses for courses.

14.) 03 Sep 2017 18:31:07
Ive wanted him sacked 8 years ago.

15.) 03 Sep 2017 19:11:54
13/ 14 season for me should have been his last, the title was ours for the taking but the 4th place mentality kicked in and we finished surprise surprise 4th after leading the table in January.
It became obvious that season the ambition and desire wasn't there for more any longer.

16.) 03 Sep 2017 19:51:19
I wouldn't be surprised gunner 62 he dontnit he min we signed lacaztte.

17.) 03 Sep 2017 20:00:43
Speak English JELLY.

18.) 03 Sep 2017 22:32:00
steve your posts might not want to be what everyone wants to hear, but anyone who can rubbish them is living with there heads in sand.

19.) 03 Sep 2017 23:13:07
Agreed Derby.

20.) 04 Sep 2017 01:38:49
Thanks Derby, you are a gent. Just for the record, you are the greatest poster on here behind me. By the way the cheque is in the post. lol.

21.) 04 Sep 2017 05:01:48
Steve. r who is that guy in your dp, is he from some tv series?

22.) 04 Sep 2017 06:54:55
So we had steve 3 years ago and Malaga 8 years ago. Maybe it's Malaga who is the real meshiha 😇.

23.) 04 Sep 2017 10:58:23
In 2008 piers morgan wrote an article in the daily mail explaining why Wenger had to go. I don't really like the man, but if you read the article 9 years on, you can't now disagree with what he was saying. And there are many parallels for now.

02 Sep 2017 11:13:46
I've heard a rumour that higuain, benzema, lemar and everyone else we have been linked with in past windows are set to join in January window fact.

gunnerwin

1.) 02 Sep 2017 20:15:10
doesn't that rumour only come out when the season tickets are due for renewing.

01 Sep 2017 15:38:32
sanchez saying he won't play for Arsenal again, as he feels messed around by the club. only one thing for it, take him out the back of the stadium and give the little muppet a stern talking-to.

gunnerwin

1.) 01 Sep 2017 17:15:31
Is he really? Or are you making that up.?

2.) 01 Sep 2017 17:26:37
The Spanish window closes tonight so there is still time to sort out something and get the situation resolved.

3.) 01 Sep 2017 17:28:26
Read that in the papers too Steve. No idea if it's true though.

4.) 01 Sep 2017 19:19:21
Not cashing in is a huge mistake, pretty much every man and his dog knows we'll win naff all this season whether Sanchez stays or not.

City will be back in January when just to add to problems we'll no doubt be out of the running for the title.

The whole thing is just laughable.

5.) 01 Sep 2017 19:30:34
Laughable

Cryable Stoner mate it's a shocking situation to get in . I thought Wenger was intelligent?

30 Aug 2017 13:36:38
I see Oxlade-Chamberlain intends to stay at Arsenal and run down his contract if he don't get liverpool move, I'm assuming he will not get on the pitch, as why would he play he has no interest in us, we should not help him in anyway, and then I hope england drop him.

gunnerwin

1.) 30 Aug 2017 14:42:11
I see know problem of he performs, he's on a contract and he wants a move, so he has to put himself in the shop window.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 14:52:48
Can you really see it tho steve. Youd be very foolish to believe players and agents don't reach out in private to opposition managers and viceversa, especially when it comes to klopp and Liverpool.
Dont you find it odd he flat out refused to enter into an agreement with Chelsea whilst Liverpool had not yet even declared interest or matched the offer? What player has that luxury except for one who knows that the club in question, Liverpool, are interested and will make a move. All he's doing is forcing us to sell either for lower than what Chelsea bid or for nothing next summer when hell join them anyway.
It smacks of collusion but we are the real architects of our own rubbish sandwich here.

3.) 30 Aug 2017 15:09:57
but Steve he's not and will not commit himself fully to our season, we'll end up looking even bigger mugs than we are already.

4.) 30 Aug 2017 15:22:36
Calm down he won't be a Arsenal player Friday morning.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 15:41:51
I'd put money on it that no matter who leaves there won't be anyone coming in.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 16:38:33
I agree 100%, but its like a car crash we can't take our eyes off the transfer rumours. I am just shocked by how disorganized we have been were like a pub team.

7.) 30 Aug 2017 17:34:29
If he does stay and doesn't perform, he won't get his move, that's for sure.

for me he has no end product, can't cross, can't score and jumps up and down like a child when things go wrong for him, so no I would not be happy if we bought the mini hulk.

Ed025, I agree the deals should have been done earlier in the window, but it wasn't and that has people worried of course and me too, no manager really listens to the fans, we have been through a bad period for a long time as most of us know, with one thing and another and its sad that the younger fans haven't had some of the glory days we've had in the past, but were not the only team to have struggled to find what we had, look at liverpool one of the most feared teams in Europe and England for the best part of twenty years, and nothing really since, same at man utd more recently, the money clubs bought the league and Leicester lol, I know wenger must take a lot of the blame but how many have let us down on the pitch far too many too mention, why is no one saying chelsea are panic buying which they are with a weakened squad, it also seems some of these players have been holding the club to ransom with their demands, which they do not deserve as they have won nothing to merit the pay rise, I like to try to stay positive as I always have, I suppose different strokes mate.
