Ends now with the Euros being over on Sunday do you expect an increase in transfer activity? Also would love to know if the Draxler and Lacazette rumours are anything more than just rumours.

As always thanks!

Again and Again it's just rumours.

Fighting for UEFA CUP position will be good idea for next season.

2.) 09 Jul 2016 14:02:33
I have the feeling that you are right Andy, this transfer window has the usual feeling of disappointment building around it. We really need a new more aggressive approach to our transfer dealings.

3.) 09 Jul 2016 14:50:26
I don't know what you guys do for work, but I've never seen any business or organisation get things done on day 1 when they have weeks in which to do it.

Also, there's the transfer merry-go-round to account for.

Its still early in the window and we have one proven signing, and one unknown (to most) . At the minute, no reason to be disheartened. Just hope that our Euro starlets don't get inured in the final!

ends Arsenal have been linked with a bid for Gabriel Barbosa, is this true and has it been accepted and how much is the bid (if it is real) he looks like a very exciting player.
thanks.

bradgooner

{Ed025's Note - arsenal are very interested brad but whether an official bid has been made is speculation at this point, its complicated as he has dual ownership and the work permit issue will be crucial to the proceedings mate..

1.) 30 Jun 2016 06:55:40
thanks Ed025! I personally hope that we pull this one off as he looks very talented. looks like a long summer is ahead of us Gooners!

{Ed025's Note - it should be interesting brad as all the players linked are quality mate..

Hi Eds,

thanks for all the hard work and valuable input!
Arsenal have been linked with several left backs, including Rodriguez from Wolfsburg. do you expect Arsenal to sign a left back and would you see Gibbs or Nacho leaving?

thanks.

bradgooner

{Ed001's Note - Arsenal have been looking closely at left backs to replace Gibbs, but it doesn't look to be happening this summer. My assumption would be that Gibbs was looking to leave but decided to give it another season and so the priority is a forward. It is not like Wenger to look to replace a player coming into his prime otherwise, he is usually too loyal if anything.}

1.) 22 Jun 2016 09:37:35
Hello ed. It seems like arsenal have lost out on vardy and lukaky so can u give the list of realistic possibility of strikers arsenal could still sign please?

{Ed001's Note - I don't believe Vardy has given his final decision yet, Lukaku stories appear to be false. Morata, Fekir and Batshuayi are all strikers that have been heavily scouted by Arsenal over the season.}

2.) 22 Jun 2016 13:03:07
Isn't fekir a cam ed? And do u know how batshuyai performed this season?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea where Fekir plays, to be perfectly honest, as I have never seen him play. He was a name given to me as an attacker that Arsenal were scouting, so I assumed he was a striker. I have no idea how Batshuayi got on last season, but he has attracted quite a bit of interest, so I would guess he did fairly well at least.}

3.) 22 Jun 2016 13:08:56
Morata seems far too expensive for us id say.

{Ed001's Note - probably. In my opinion, I would say Vardy was chosen because Morata was out of reach. You never know though, Wenger seems to want to win now.}

4.) 22 Jun 2016 13:24:11
I know he's a bit old but I'm surprised we aren't linked with jermaine defoe, quality player ed. What do u think? And have there been any developments with centre backs ed? Thanks for answering my questions.

{Ed001's Note - Defoe? Misses too many. You already have one striker who misses too many in Giroud, why would you want to sign another who is closing in on retirement age??

I have not heard of any developments with defenders, probably after the Copa and Euros have finished before things will start moving to be honest.}

5.) 22 Jun 2016 13:41:19
The fact that madrid are wanting 60 mil for morata and aubameyang or higuain was available for the same price makes me not understand arsene though if he really does want to win.

6.) 22 Jun 2016 14:49:21
Oh yeah sorry ed do u see us buying kante? Would be a great signing.

{Ed001's Note - I think you have missed your chance with him to be honest.}

7.) 22 Jun 2016 15:28:11
Whys tha.

{Ed001's Note - because the likes of Barca and Real Madrid are sniffing round him now and Bayern.}

8.) 22 Jun 2016 15:54:51
Hi Ed,

Michy is a decent player. There are comparisons to Drogba (probably because he is at OM) , but is a physical player with decent technique. I think morata is a better prospect. Not sure michy is a massive upgrade on giroud, but he has more pace and mobility.

9.) 22 Jun 2016 19:11:00
We both say morata is out of reach ed. but if we do have the money for him what's to stop Arsene just paying it. Not like he is wanting to wait around for so and so next season if he's retiring. Don't get me wrong I know he'll still have the clubs long term interests at heart. But thought this last season might make his concerns of that lessen.

{Ed001's Note - because I doubt he would swap Juve for Arsenal.}

10.) 22 Jun 2016 19:20:59
Just looking at your comment as regards to wenger been loyal. I agree wholeheartedly! Do you think that wenger is more for the player than for the club. It's not to be criticised as there are too many people out for themselves in this world. Do you believe arsene is good for the game ax a whole. I'm a bit wrecked so interpretation would be helpful lol.

{Ed001's Note - no, he sees the players as part of the club, as a family. So he is loyal to the whole. Wenger is very good for the game as a whole. He has revolutionised the Premier League and dragged it into the modern era.}

11.) 22 Jun 2016 20:20:33
That's the way I see it ed.

12.) 22 Jun 2016 20:08:42
Sorry ed I'm confused. Isn't he back at Real Madrid now? If they want to sell him on then maybe we have a chance. Just trying to get my head around this whole saga lol. And for what it's worth I like the way Wenger sees the players as his family. Sure it can be frustrating for us fans but must be a huge factor when players think of joining. Just look at Xhaka saying how much Djourou spoke highly of our club.

{Ed001's Note - Morata? Real Madrid have a buy back clause but the player turned down a return, as they only wanted to sell him on for a profit afterwards.}

13.) 23 Jun 2016 08:59:45
Yea was talking about morata. You 100% sure he turned them down? Says on bbc sport he rejoined Madrid.

{Ed001's Note - Ed002 just informed me the situation has changed and he did rejoin Madrid, for now. Though there is a good chance he will return to Juve. I was told Juve had agreed a deal to buy out the buyback clause, but apparently they couldn't. They might end up buying him (again) though.}

14.) 23 Jun 2016 11:00:47
Oh right! Should just scrap these buy back clauses for me! Thanks for the info ed!

{Ed002's Note - And there is a discussion going on with another side about him. BUt a return to Juve is part of a two player and cash exchange deal for someone else.}

15.) 23 Jun 2016 12:39:11
ah pogba how useful he is as a bargaining chip right about now.

16.) 23 Jun 2016 12:42:09
I would guess that other player is pogba? Either eat nice surprise seeing you comment there ed002 thank you very much!

Skysports' Tony Cascareno has said his close sources in France believe we will be going back in with an improved bid for Lacazette. Not sure how reliable he is? But its something to be hopeful about! If, and its a big if, we end up with Xhaka, Holding, the Jap, Mustafi and Lacazette or Mahrez I think that would be an incredible transfer window! let's all pray.

The problem is that the window is still open until the end of the month, which means that Lyon can hold on for a huge fee, knowing that we are desperate and they will be happy if the deal falls through and Lacazette stays at the club. We need a forward and a CB in this week.

Matuidi is definitely the type of player we need. Kolasinac, Matuidi, Lacazette would be a very good window so long as we keep Ozil and Sanchez!
Also been hearing a lot about Lemar in last couple days and supposedly a bid over well over 30mil.

completely agree with you laker! Kroenke, Gazidis and Wenger all need to get out. They are in it for the money and that is not fair on the fans or players!

would prefer Lacazette of the two but I don't think either will arrive at the Emirates this summer lads.
