Hi Eds- read somewhere that we have scouted Pablo Fornals a few times this season? YouTube seems to suggest he's decent enough in midfield. Do you think he'll be a serious target for us this summer?

EMG

{Ed002's Note - Yes the club has an interest in him.}

Eds do you think there's any chance of Julian Nagelsmann succeeding Wenger? Seems Bayern are lining him up and not sure if he'd want to leave Bundesliga.

EMG

{Ed002's Note - I don't think there is any chance that Arsenal would look to Julian Nagelsmann but he is building a good reputation.}

Thanks Ed.

Don't the board want arsene's decision by easter?

Easter; this year or next 😁.

{Ed033's Note - You'd hope Easter this year as it could act as the resurrection of Arsenal from the dead 😋.

It's a sorry time indeed ed! I can't cope on here at the moment. I think I will have to restart my conspiracy page subscription 😍.

{Ed033's Note - You could return as Growbun The Grey.

Hi Eds - quick one:

With the issues in Ukraine I've read on the news that players at Shaktar Donetzk (sp?) may be allowed to leave in the summer. I see it as very Wengerish to take advantage of such an opportunity and sign the likes of Bernard and Taison? Unless the latter goes to Chelsea.

Can you see this happening / have you heard anything in the grapevine?

{Ed002's Note - Sorry I have no idea what you are talking about. "Wengerish"?}

1.) Ed. Can you not remember Wenger jumping on the sinking ship that was Malaga and getting Santi and Monreal also looking at Gamez and Rondon seriously! So I think it would be very 'Wengerish' to jump on the instability in the political and social happenings in Ukraine especially Kiev and Donetsk who are both in the worst effected zones!

2.) Wengerish - as per Baz mentioned i.e. With Santi Cazorla at Malaga and taking advantage of the financial situation; As per Özil and the apparent outcome due to Bale etc moving.

We know Wenger likes to bag a bargain when possible and I wondered if you knew anything which maybe in the pipeline w.r.t to the situation at Shaktar?

3.) I thought "Wengerish" was refusing to change tactics or make substitutions when you team is getting battered after 15 minutes.

Here's hoping he jumps on the Wengerbus and gets the hell out of here.

I've been really impressed with what I've seen of Nathan Redmond lately for England and Norwich. Proper wide player who seems effective and can provide that extra creativity a team needs. Saw him in the championship last few years too whilst watching derby (local home team).

He's a youngster I wouldn't have minded Wenger having a punt on. Maybe after a season for Norwich he'll move onto bigger and better things. You know of any interest eds? {Ed027's Note - he just joined Norwich

just been watching Ibrahimovic vids on youtube - the guys absolute class.

we could do with him; or the 'next Ibrahimovic' if Wenger can find such a beast.

any news on players Wenger might be looking at to strengthen the squad Eds?

thanks

1.) That Bakkali seems like a decent young winger too. Hope we snap him up. Could do with a decent dribbler/wide player.

We seem to be offloading a lot of players this summer. Could Wenger be lining up changes to the wage structure by offering individuals higher wages but keeping the same/similar cap by promoting youth players also.
I don't think general purchase money is a problem (although Wenger won't overspend on a players value) it's the wages which we struggle to meet.

Could Rooney/ibrahimovic/Suarez really be on their way? I definitely think we'll be reinforcing with some powerful additions before the end of the window.
