Hi gents just a quick one how difficult will it be to get tickets for Europa league games and what's the best way to go about it? DO you have to be a member? And when/ where could I look elsewhere other then the website for tickets?

You doing the Europa league season too Dolally? I'm seriously considering it myself mate.
I'm thinking of doing all the home games and as many away games as reasonably possible around work.
I'm excited by the Europa league for some reason.

2.) 26 Aug 2017 10:16:36
How do I get tickets tho gunner 62?

3.) 26 Aug 2017 21:27:17
Go to Arsenal.com mate it will tell you exactly how to get tickets.
Becoming a red member is a good idea if your planing on doing a few games.

4.) 26 Aug 2017 23:46:11
The best way I know is through friends as my mate often knows lots season ticket holders who aren't using their tickets so you can loam them quite cheaply for lots of games, but i don't imagine the early rounds will be a sell out so non menbees can get them from Arssnal.com for £16 to £24.

I'm not sure how reliable other Internet sources are but if I can't get them through word of mouth then I will try the club as my next point of call, you can become a red member for under £40 and if you are thinking of attending a few games thus is your best option without knowing anyone because some tickets are always available for each game to red members and it's worth paying the £35 to £40 if attending even 2 or 3 games each season.

Obviously your thinking of all 3 home games it's well worth joining and it makes getting tickets during the letter rounds more possible too.

Imagine Wenger froze out Ozil, refused to play Aubameyang and Lacazette together and played a conservative back 5 away at BATE. There would be murders 😂😂.

I agree with that, so far Dick is living purely off not being Arsene Wenger despite the obvious similarities.

15 Feb 2019 00:11:55
Why after a result like tonight’s are ‘contracts’ the issue.

Regardless of contracts it is not or shouldn’t be difficult to control and dominate a team we beat 4-0 with our under 21s away from home last year.

We can get away with losing to city, Liverpool etc as we are in ‘transition’ but that doesn’t excuse performances like tonight’s.
Get in the real world, emery has been disappointing so far even with the same group of players Wenger had plus a full season of auba and Torreira.

Just want a pragmatic dynamic manager who makes us competitive and adaptable in every game we play. Burnley do it, we should be able to regardless of how our ‘contracts’ are handled.

Wake up smell the coffee. Bar Tottenham at home + Fulham away (who are horrendous btw) when have you actually watched us and enjoyed a comprehensive clinical performance this season?

DoLally

1.) 15 Feb 2019 05:54:41
Contracts aren’t just the issue I’m pointing what a mess we are internally and are tighter than a ducks a*** with money, that has a knock on effect on the strength of the squad

Or don’t you see that?

2.) 15 Feb 2019 11:38:18
Contracts have been a mess mate but I’m saying that is no excuse for recent performances. Proven internationals not delivering. Don’t hide behind negotiations for that.

3.) 15 Feb 2019 18:43:05
Fair point but it seems it’s another season of same old, the way contracts, salaries have been handled has made us a laughing stock . going back several years, then he have the highest paid player at the club left at home . apparently fit?

I’ve managed players on wagers and they are all the same no matter what level, it all causes unrest and ultimately poor performance.

See people saying go with experience and older players today for security. Seem to recall a certain newly promoted stoke where we changed our team selection to try combat them and we lost 2-1. We should go play our game and not worry about them ‘roughing us up’. 3 points today COYG.

I think Dick will do his own thing and if he wasn't prepared to abandoned his ideas for City and Chelsea i doubt Cardiff will terrify him into doing so.
I think for now he's more interested in installing his phylophy into our players than what the opposition are planning.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 15:28:40
G62, did you by any chance mean his filo pastry?

3.) 02 Sep 2018 15:44:41
:-) I did Sharpie mate, and Dicks been feeding it all to Torreira the man from fray bentos which is why he can't start games in order to allow digestion time.

16 Jun 2018 00:25:12
All behind the new manager and the regime but currently we’ve signed a 34 year old, and renewed arguably our worst performer with a new contract. Imagine if Wenger had the same window. Not dampening enthusiasm but please put into context the decisions. Should be viewed as separate entities regardless of manager. Plenty of time for change but up to now hardly inspiring.

DoLally

1.) 16 Jun 2018 06:09:23
Hardly any PL deals have been completed. Indeed our only signing has been a free transfer. Reports that Sokratis is a done deal and will be announced on 1st July, as other deals may.
Strong reports of further deals, including; Leno and Torreira.
Weaker reports include; Luiz, Gotze, Soyuncu, Martins, etc.
What is clear is that we are active in the market.
In a World Cup year and an early date to complete purchases by 9th August it won't be easy to make the necessary signings and sales.

2.) 16 Jun 2018 10:23:04
I think that's a fair comment about if Arsene had done what Dick has done so far we would be all doom and gloom and up in arms Dolally mate, the thought had crossed mind too.
I think the difference is Dick is trying to adress the areas we are weak in where Arsene just wouldn't accept we had any weaknesses plus Dick doesn't have a record of excuses that are out of touch with reality that Arsene had or the record of almost all his signings Sanchez apart going sour.
A 34 year old RB under Arsene would have the ring of Kim Kalstrom about it but under Dick it has more benefit of the doubt simply because there is no history of things going bad.
Arsene had lost the fans while right now the fans are Dicks to lose.
If Dick wants to keep Xhaka that's fine by me but if he starts saying how good he's been for Arsenal since he arrived i will become very worried about Dick suddenly:-) .

3.) 16 Jun 2018 10:39:57
Lichtsteiner on Xhaka:

"I’ve known Granit now for more than six or seven years, so he’s just an amazing player, ” He’s very good and he’s still young. It’s not easy for him to be the direct leader at 23 or 24 years old, so I hope I can help him to become bigger and bigger. He had a very good season and I hope next year he will do even better. Off the pitch he is just a great person, a great character, very calm, he knows when he can joke and he knows when to concentrate. A top professional player on the pitch, great passing and just a great player. "

4.) 16 Jun 2018 11:22:23
:-) well that's it then ;-)
If our new RB says Xhaka had a very good season 99% of the rest of the premier league viewers who thought he was awful need to forget about what they witnessed with thier own eyes :-)
This gets more and more silly.
How Salah got player of the season over Xhaka is anyone's guess ;-)
Glen you are asking people to believe what you want them to believe rather than what actually happened in reality mate.

5.) 16 Jun 2018 19:25:24
Gunner, it might also be due to the fact, he is his club and country team mate. What else is he going to say?

6.) 17 Jun 2018 02:16:21
You can’t really blame xhaka for our awful season. They were badly managed and directed in some ways. He wasn’t an awful player before he came to us, but most of us hated him because his name wasn’t kante.
I’m not saying he had a brilliant season but the Dick and Emery must know something or two about his ability that we don’t, I will trust the expert opinion on this.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, he was exactly the same player you saw last season when he was in Germany. It is why everyone questioned the signing. That is just the way he plays.}

7.) 17 Jun 2018 13:15:05
Sorry Ed I didn’t see much of the german league, but heard otherwise about him. But you might be right too.

{Ed001's Note - no worries mate. Just what I saw of him and was not impressed.}

Steve, in terms of Bellerin how can you think he is so bad? The guy has to operate the whole right flank on his own with next to no protection. The team was so unbalanced that you literally can’t blame him. Modern day football isn’t as simple as having 11 world beaters who look good on paper, it’s building a team where units are cohesive. Every player deserves a fresh chance under the new manager and I for one am sure just like ox Bellerin would flourish elsewhere.

DoLally

1.) 08 Jun 2018 10:13:50
I am hoping that Bellerin will shine under Emery. Personally, I do not want to see him or Xhaka go anywhere. They are both brilliantly talented players and just need to focus on what they are good at! Neither of them have been coached to their strengths and have been bullied in to the old Arsenal way of sideways passing and overplaying. They aren't the only two either!

2.) 08 Jun 2018 10:14:59
Totally agree mate, I'm not a fan of Xhaka Mustafi or Iwobi but if Dick wants to give them a fresh start so will I.
Belerin despite being the youngest for some reason has copped the most stick and the only obvious reasons I can see for that is because the expectations are higher of him than the rest, why? Because he's actually delivered at a high standard consistently for a season and half where the other apart from Kos have only ever done it in short bursts here and there
It's not Burnley or St Johnston who are interested in Belerin but Barcelona and Juventus and that has to tell us something.

3.) 08 Jun 2018 11:54:58
There are so many examples of this. Bonucci at Milan, Pogba at United, Zlatan at Barcelona. Otamendi last season vs. this season.

Give Bellerin, Xhaka and Mustafi a chance and I think they will take it. More conserned with Iwobi and chambers who in my opinion doesn't have enough intensity.

4.) 08 Jun 2018 12:32:17
Im sorry i don't rate bellerin or xhaka. My original point was, rumours are we are still in for a right back. IF true, neither does Emery. I see things in both those players that tell me they are not geared for prem football, not at the level we aspire too. If the boss can make a silk purse out of a sows ear, then he will do miracles for us.

5.) 08 Jun 2018 14:39:52
If Emery doesn't rate Belerin then it's right he should cash in on the lad, personally I think he would be making a mistake but it's what he thinks that matters as he has do what is best for the team and squad not individuals careers.
Arsenal or elsewhere Belerin will come good again, he hasn't lost all that ability that he showed consistently for 18 months week in week out, he's just lost his confidence and I'm sure if we don't Jurgen and others will happily help him get it back again.
Some players are inconsistent because they think they are a lot better than they are when in fact they play a few good games here and there in patches but are equally poor at other times, Hector doesn't fit in that bracket as a player or person in my opinion.

6.) 08 Jun 2018 15:07:43
I suppose Gunner the question is do we miss ox, will we miss bellerin? The answer to that would be who we get in to replace them regardless of how they do elsewhere. We seem to have got a player better suited to us than he was at man u. Do they miss him? Its all about who plays in their ex place for you.

7.) 08 Jun 2018 15:58:15
I think the criticism put on Bellerin is absolutely fair, in that he lost any ability to defend, coupled with his complete inability to offer anything going forward other than a sideways or backward pass. You can see better crosses at the local park on a Sunday morning than he can deliver, despite the fact he was supposedly a forward before becoming a full back? Perhaps he should watch some videos of Monreal, who despite his many critics, offers more as an attacking threat in 5 minutes than Bellerin managed in the whole season. However, despite this criticism, i think he is ultimately a good player, who has just lost his way, and i am sure we will see him back to his best soon.

8.) 08 Jun 2018 18:05:15
Epping agree but for me, bellerin was never the same after Alonso clattered him. For me also his bravery is in question and for a defender that's no1 requirement. Reyes was the same, one tough game and he didn't fancy it anymore.

9.) 09 Jun 2018 22:30:09
Reyes was a total shock in how badly he fell away Steve. He looked the part for us, and then fell away massively, and unlike some other players who re-ignighted their form and career after they left us, such as Carlos Vela, I don't think Reyes ever really picked up his career again.

10.) 09 Jun 2018 23:54:40
Epping Reyes just didn't fancy a bruising battle and neither does bellerin. In bellerins case, with him being a defender, he has to look forward to a dual, take it on with relish and he doesn't.

A lot of players have a premiers league medal. I remember watching Wes Morgan at turf moor in a forest shirt lose 5-1 at the hands of Austin and co for Steve mcclaren and he was by far the worst player. What I'm saying is a footballers career is short and what mahrez did for that club he should have been allowed to leave last summer.

I think a manager should choose his own players? Look at situations like Newcastle where pardew was coaching players he didn't want/ need.
