Our manager has more wins in his first 50 games than any manager in arsenal history. Wow!

Considering the squad Emery inherited, plus a spend of only £70m, he has done a first class job. In a difficult transition season, having lost. 3 players to injury for much of the season, to think that we could be in 3rd place after Sunday's match and are in the Semi-Final of the EL is an amazing achievement.

If we make top 4 or win the europa then no one can argue
Dick has done an amazing job in his first 12 months at Arsenal.
Last night was a fantastic results and performance but personally I'm still not convinced by the teams overall performances or Dicks tactics and team selections.
What ever happens next season and beyond it won't change the fact that in season one qualifying for CL football in either or both top 4 and or europa league would be an outstanding achievement.

Impressive but I’d take Wenger’s first season over anyone’s first regardless of number of wins.

How many goals has Emery conceded in his first 50 games Vs the rest?

Sy, i can appreciate you can't move on yet but that's your problem and that's something only you can say when you get over wenger. For me i can't think of any manager who in his first season could have done much better. Would klopp, would poch, would solschar, would sari, would Ancelotti or would arteta? who knows but to be in a better position than we are now would have required a minor miracle. i'm lucky, i moved on straight away and i'm loving it. Hope you can love it too soon. I've got my Arsenal back, i'm not a mardy sod anymore and i'm grateful.

{Ed001's Note - you live in a major dream world if you think none of those would have done better.}

Steve, I have moved on. I said it was impressive. Wenger’s first season - he changed a failing team around and addressed its weak spots. Who cares about the number of wins in the first 50 - we had trophies in the first season as issues were addressed. That’s not caught in the past but a yardstick for your expectations to be measured against as I think your using a 5 inch ruler to judge Emery because he’s not Wenger. We don’t have our Arsenal back we just have change plus new hope and May be it’s that hope that’s skewing judgement more than reality. Either way - I WANT Arsenal to succeed and if Emery doesn’t improved next season and address the obvious then I hope we change again. I hope it’s not necessary as that delays success but that’s life.
