Guys what do you think is wrong with Mesut? Left out with “back spasms” for all three games this week. Seems v strange to me. I heard all the Fortnite theories but surely there’s a rift or am I just reading too much into it? 😂
If he doesn’t fancy Ozil I hope he doesn’t disregard a no.10 completely. I believe he prefers 3 cm’s From his time at Sevilla and psg but I think a 10 can be the difference between winning and losing a game, just a moment of brilliance or instinct. Torreira is almost play all 3 midfield positions atm. Cdm, cm and cam and might I add, doing the business in all 3.
Like to hear your feedback on the matter even if you think I’m way off the mark or not 😂.
Ps. I know we winning with his formula and don’t doubt him in the slightest just think a 10 on song will define us from being a good team and us being a great team.

Hi Dempo I too think a good number 10 can be the difference but they have to be effective in almost every game to justify their place in the team, better no number 10 if they are a passenger.
Mesut is a wonderful player but I personally think he struggles morw mentally than he let's on, I think all the horrible stuff he experienced during and after the world cup has hurt him more than he let's on.
We are all different and Aaron Ramsey really isn't interested what others think he knows he's among the world's very best while Ozil needs to feel the love to be at his best.

Ozil misses more games through "mystery" illnesses than i know. He is flimsy and temperamental, diva like. We pay him far too much money to be a diva, we need more from him or ship him out.

I feel that Emery isn't happy with his options when we play his favoured 4-2-3-1, as none of the players in the '3' offer much defensively and hence why he has changed his formation recently to stiffen up the midfield area. Emery has agreed to let Ramsey go and it appears that Ozil will also depart, assuming we can find a taker. I expect a couple of signings, a wide player and midfield player that can attack and defend. So 2 signings in January and possibly 2 or 3 more in the summer window.
I expect the following players to move on over the next couple of windows:
Cech (summer)
Lichtsteiner (summer)
Chambers
Elneny
Welbeck (Injured and no deal offered)
Ramsey (deal withdrawn)
Ozil (Not consistent enough, etc)
Jenkinson

I see youngsters coming through strongly next season such as Nelson, Mavropanos. Smith-Rowe and possibly 2 or 3 others.
I like Emery's decisiveness. It's refreshing after hanging onto failing players under the previous regime.
