On Thursday we have the opportunity to play an experienced second string team v Qarabag. Is this the best way forward, as we have to play Fulham who will be well rested at the weekend. Or do we play a strong team, which should ensure a win, keep the winning run going, with the knowledge that some players will get a rest during the international break, if not selected for their national teams. Thoughts fellow Gooners?

It's a tricky one because to much rotation doesn't seem to bring long term benefits and teams that create a good solid base that plays most games together seem to do better than those who chop and change too much.
I'm not sure how many players City used last season but Chelsea Leicester then Chelsea again used the least players in the league the seasons they won the title before City.

But it is a long trip and for some strange reason Thursday Sunday seems to be more difficult than Wednesday Saturday for teams.
I guess it depends where our priorities lay this season top 4 bid or champions league qualification via the europa league.
If it's both then I think we need to qualify through the europa group asap and then rest players once we are safely in the next round.
We have disrespected and underestimated teams in the past and been embarrassed by it.

As shown so far, we have good depth, i see no reason why we can't swap at least 6 or 7 plus players. We did it last season and arguably did better in the carriboo cup and europa league than the league. I think we have a deeper squad and can rotate quite comfortably. Plus it give players a chance to impress and get in the league team, to replace the weaker links.
