Arsene has told a French Sports publication that he regrets staying at the one club for so long. Can see the Wenger out brigade having a field day!

Wenger is history, I'm really looking forward to the new season, to see how we now play under Emery and with 5 new players so far. I can also see see an end to keeping failing players at the club. 25 days to kick off!

I think it's only natural that with time to reflect he should look back and think what might have been if he'd done things differently.
Arsene was to close to the woods to see the trees in the end and now he's had chance to think clearly he's thinking what if?
Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.
Everyone looks back at less successful times and thinks and sees things differently to when their caught up in the moment.

Wenger, very much yesterday's man, looks lost. He wasn't offered the managers job at PSG. With France winning the World Cup, Deschamps job looks secure for the foreseeable future. I can't see any top club offering Wenger the managers job.
Quite where he will fit in is a mystery. I appreciate his time at Arsenal, but bleating about the past is embarrassing.
Emery is so refreshing, although we must be patient whilst he upgrades the squad, giving it much needed balance, fitness, defensive awareness and tactics.
The final bit of business this summer will be to unload the 6 players mentioned, try to extend Ramsey's contract and bring in at least one more player, Nzonzi is my choice, A second if Ramsey leaves.

I think he probably stayed about 10 years to long . Not sure if it was pride or stubborness that carried him through to the end.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing 68 mate and Arsene is only human and once the dust is settled on a difficult time where things didn't work out as we wished for its easy to see where we might have been more wise.
Your right mate he did stay to long but I'm not sure if it was pride or stubbness but simply a case of being surrounded by people who constantly defended him and refused to see him held to account, pundits journalists fans you name it people qued up to defend him right up until the last season or two, it's got to be easy to lose your way when 50% think you can do no wrong while the other 50% think you've had it, who do you listen to? I guess we would all chose the compliments over the insults wouldn't we?

Bleating? Really? So the man that GAVE 20+ years of his life to the club you claim to love can't have a thought?

What's embarrassing is some turnip pretending he's a jet-setter with a private plane, a super model wife, an economist of State as a father-in-law and to top it all off, an internet package that makes it look like he's in Blighty when he's really in Madrid.

What's embarrassing is your ability to repeat the same thing multiple times in the hope that someone on here will take you seriously.
