How Hazard gets PFA player of the year and not Sanchez is quite amazing to me.

Sanchez has been terrific all season but I think Hazard just shaded it.

Justifiable.

{Ed025's Note - it was close for me dags, but for the first half of the season hazard had better players around him to provide the service..

Alexis has more goals than hazard
Alexis has more assists than hazard
Alexis doesn't take pen's, the only one he took he missed.
Alexis has more goals in CL than Hazard.

And to add its his first season in the PL. This is a farce

There is nothing between them, they have both been great, but as Ed said, winning trophies has tipped the scales in Hazard's favour.

As they say, "to the victor, goes the spoils".

Stats don't tell the whole story though. Goals and assists can be useful in assessing a player, but they don't tell the whole story. For example, you could look at chances created and see that Hazard is top of that list. And no offense meant, but IMO didn't really perform that well in the big games. Only thing I remember him doing against Chelsea is colliding with Courtois in that first game. And supporters of other teams (United fans being among others) told me that he didn't do much against them either. So that could contribute to it as well.

I agree, Hazard winning over Alexis is a joke.

I'm not saying he hasn't and I rate him highly, but I think Sanchez has been better.
