Anyone know about the gossip of a meeting between Pepe and arteta about him coming back to the squad seeing a lot of talk today.

I'd have pepe back. not sure he was the failure everyone made him out to be. but maybe there's a discipline element.

he averaged a goal involvement every 2 games in his first 2 seasons, so certainly was not the failure that everyone made out, but his last of effort when the chip was down so to say was questionable.

and maybe represented in the fact that he is struggling to find a club, in that there has been interest but no one seems to have been able to agree personal terms. Makes me wonder if he is a bit lazy and just wants to be paid a lot for little effort.

I could very well be wrong, just a thought.

I think he lacks determination, drive and the mindset to be a top player or it's just laziness as you say. There are people like that amongst us everyday people. Like some folks having adult children at home well in their 30s not even wanting to work. Later they wish they could roll back the years. He's 29 now I believe with the youthful years behind of his career behind him. Must be realising he has no where to go with no one wanting him.

Not sure about the money part someone slap a big price tag on him, which comes hand in hand with a huge salary.

All speculation! ?.
