I feel for Toney a bit. Yes, 100% wrong behaviour, but the premier league is the one who has glorified betting and placed it basically everywhere you can look. The sooner we start treating sports betting like cigarettes the better. I have colleagues who work in gambling addiction and it is far, far worse than anything you will see from nicotine. I've met parents who let their kids put a cheeky tenner on a game because the kids see the sponsors every day and think it's OK.

He's allowed to start training with a club from the four month mark, he'll miss only the first half of next season and be fit and ready to play for the second. Wouldn't surprise me if someone does sign him now they know this, but it won't be us.

Brentford had already signed is replacement for a club record fee, in January if I’m not mistaken.

if anything it makes more likely I feel he will be sold Brentford can't afford to not have a main striker for that long out so will cash in now i feel if someone is willing.
