Its no secret Wenger is a massive admirer of Benzema and ed 002 recently posted there may be an option to buy this summer with Real looking to make more funds available alongside those made from the sales of Danilo and Morata to secure Mbappe from Monaco who are not short of money right now and can drive the price up as they wish.

My question is whether anyone of you is aware of whether Madrid has now contacted previously interested parties of the availability of Benzema and whether we are one of those parties they no doubt would like to see enter into a bidding war to drive up the price?

Also do you believe we can put the Lemar chase behind us now and whether we are really interested in a serious bid for a proper holding midfielder as has been reported with the Carvalho / Seri rumours.

Is Seri a holding midfielder? Would love for us to get a new defensive minded mid, for me Coquelin can't do the job.

I was under the impression that Zidane liked Benzema and wanted him to stay, but if they're after Mbappe he seems the most natural choice to sell as he'd be the most likely to lose his place. I don't think we'll be doing the bidding though. Most likely to end up at PSG if I were to guess.
