Just a quick question for you all, I don't know how many (if any of you) read the review of the day news round up I do each day, but on a Monday I used to do an 'And Finally. ' section on the end with footballing anecdotes based around a theme. After chatting with a group of people on the Liverpool site, they have requested I turn that into a separate longer article that I do regularly.

Anyway, for those that are interested in reading it, what kind of anecdotes would you be interested in:

Would you like it to just stick to football only?

Would you be interested in any sports-based anecdotes?

Or would you want it to also include slightly unrelated anecdotes as well? As in just something funny (well I hope it would be funny anyway! ) that came to mind.

Agree0 Disagree2

Hey Ed I enjoy your reviews, it's stuff you don't often see in papers, anything funny or interesting that's not generally covered would interest me, but it is a sports site so if it was totally random it might be a bit weird 😂.

{Ed001's Note - I just mean that I have a habit of getting off track when I don't have a specific topic I am working on. Like when I put a reply to a question I can end up rambling and the reply ends up telling some story about when my great-grandad escaped from prison, changed his name and ended up becoming headmaster of a prestigious private school. Just because, as you type one thing leads on to another if you are not strict with your topic. Basically I was just asking if people wanted me to strictly stick to football, open it up to all sports or just start on a theme and see where it takes me.}

Personally Ed001 I like all the antidotes, like when you met Arsene at the tailors and your uncle working in TV which lead to you revealing to us how the pundits are fed what to talk about before the show starts.
You ramble on all you like mate because the fact i can still remember your articles years after you wrote them means they've got to be interesting, funny or both.

{Ed001's Note - wow, I am impressed that you can remember as I can't! I have sent Ed033 a test article to post up, once he has checked it over for errors it should be up soon. I thought it would appeal to you as it is (sort of) about the good old days, and you are usually one of the first people that come to mind when the word old is used.....

And thank you mate, I truly appreciate that. Amazed but really pleased they have made a positive impression!

Oh, by the way, have you seen the footage of Joe Cole and Rio Ferdinand talking off camera? They proved my point for me, as they were making completely different points off camera, when they were actually speaking their mind. Well, in the case of Cole, I think mind is overstating it. I have known goldfish with more intelligence and better conversation.}

I remember the roaring 1920s like yesterday mate, mind you I had only just retired then :-)
It's really interesting to get the inside info on stuff and people most of us will never get to meet or really know away from the camara mate.
On a personal level I've always liked Arsene Wenger very very much but I've never met him so it was really good to hear your first hand account of actually meeting him.

{Ed001's Note - me mam has actually met him a lot more times than I have and I am sure Ed002 has probably met him a lot more times than both of us put together!}

Your much more candid than ed02 Ed . Does ed02 shroud himself In mystery on purpose Ed or is it just professionalism on his behalf. He definitely plays the enigma role very well. Are you two personal friends or just acquaintances. Been candid I expect a full answer 😂.

{Ed002's Note - I could not be bothered to read all of the drivel, but I am better looking than the oher Eds, I do indeed have appendages to be proud of (the mighty love truncheon as we would know it), but I am still confident and supportive of the tiny todger club - which is what I assume you are discussing.}

I was hoping your all seeing eye would have missed this and the answer I was was looking for (not always the the right answer ) was given. I have underestimated you again Ed.

{Ed033's Note - Ed002 is the all seeing eye of the illuminati.
