Hello ed001 and ed025, i just want to say thank you for your help and knowledge in the past weeks. I have got 2 questions if that's okay.
Sky are reporting that mbappe remains a top target for arsenal, do u know at all if this is true or have we moved on from him now?
Lastly, i saw on the Liverpool page that ed002 mentioned that arsenal are talking to Monaco about Thomas Lemar. In addition many media outlets are saying similar things to ed. Do u guys know what is happening with Lemar and if u see him coming arsenal this year?

{Ed001's Note - I believe they have given up on Mbappe, as their bids were rejected. Lemar is still a possible signing, Arsenal are trying to negotiate a deal but it is not easy. My personal opinion is they will end up giving up, and probably go with Mahrez, who is desperate to join Arsenal.}

Why do you think we will give up with lemar ed?
{Ed001's Note - because Monaco do not really need to sell as they have already sold Silva and are likely to end up selling Fabinho, due to a previous agreement with the player. They will have plenty of money in the bank with those sales to hold on to others unless ludicrous amounts are bid. If they do need more, Mendy has plenty of suitors too.}

What if arsenal are prepared to pay the money Monaco want? Do u have any idea of how much they want and how much arsenal are offering?

Ed mistake me if i'm wrong, but isn't leicester asking for the same money as Monaco are asking for lemar?

I think if we pay the fee he would run here off a private jet. 50/ 60 gets its done I feel. mahrez is for sure last resort.

Lemar and Mahrez aren't really the same type of player, but I'd be happy with Mahrez's acquisition if we couldn't get Lemar. When his heart is in it, he's one of the best wingers in the league. I think we're still short a number 8 with Santi and Jack likely finished for Arsenal but time will tell on that front. All in all, if we retain Alexis then I'm very optimistic.
