I really rate morata, but I don think Vardy is a great option too. Vardy will be great for the champions league games when we play against the like of bayern and barca. And I think that was our missing piece against top teams in Europe when we don't convert our counter attack chances.
{Ed025's Note - after consultation with ED02 it seems that morata is no longer an option for arsenal moe, it may be that the price is too high but it looks like his future lies elsewhere mate..

Ed25 i did think the morata saga was going to end up this way for some reason tbh. And I hope Vardy isn't a one season wonder. Lots of us fans seems happy with the Vardy move if it happens but I do hope we have a better plan for the far future.
Also ed25 well done for everton for getting koeman.

I have my reservations in respect of Morata, particularly at the reported £48m transfer fee.
Top strikers are very difficult to purchase, as most of them are at top clubs already and are simply unpurchaseable.
Vardy is a good short term option, at a comparatively reasonable price, saving £20-30m on a younger, higher quality option, plus the higher wages they would command.

More than anything I hope jack and Jamie manage to not accidently get "caught up" in a sex scandal somewhere. As long as he knocks in 20+ before his arrest I'm in full support of his signing
