Hi Eds,
I’ve seen a few recent posts with people discussing which of our current crop of young players they’d like to see in and around the first team next season. I was wondering if you could offer any insight into how the club currently regard players such as Bielik and Nelson and what there plans are for next season?

It is extremely difficult, in the PL, to bridge the gap between being a promising teenager and being able to compete physically in the PL, which is arguably the toughest league in Europe.
I envisage Nelson being integrated into the first team squad next season and would like to see if any of the others are up to the task during the summer. Nketiah, Smith-Rowe, Medley, Willock, John-Jules, Amaechi and Saka have great potential.
All credit to Mertesacker and Freddie who are doing a fine job with the young players.
