Lots of paper chatter ( I know) about Maguire. Is he the right CH to rebuild the defence around? Not so sure myself, not for £60m anyway. For that money I think there are better options.

I doubt very much we'd get him if we wanted him urban mate, I think he's United bound myself.
Would it want him? Absolutely I think he's an excellent ball playing defender that would be an upgrade on anyone else we currently have at CB.
My guess is for 80 million he will go to Manchester United this summer.

Good defender not quite Virgil Van dyke level but definitely an upgrade on any of our CB's right now including Kos who is on the slide now.
He Would take all our budget to get him and that is with sales so can't see it happening. I think Emery more likley to look at Spain or France for cheaper options options.

A season ago I would have said yes, he's excellent. Now. seems to make a lot of mistakes. I'd prefer Zouma if possible.

I think he will be back to his best again next season wire mate, lots of players involved in last summers world cup have struggled for consistency this season especially those at clubs who can't afford to rest them during the season.
I'm a great believer that form çomes and goes but ability always remains, well I say always but at least until age catches up with them like Kos of course.

I can’t see Arsenal being able to afford Maguire, never mind beat other clubs to his signing. Hence any chat is pointless.
We must sell Mustafi and Chambers, which will raise funds towards a much needed centre back or probably two. Despite having a decent return after his serious injury, we must seriously consider replacing Koscielny.
Other than Holding most of our recent CB’s have been barely 6ft and a taller one would be beneficial, particularly for domestic matches.
