Kronke should be watching nights like this and realise what investment could bring to Arsenal. Champions League football and retaining Champions League football on a regular basis brings in millions. It's a real shame that he's only interested in making a steady profit. I hope that one day I will get to witness greatness in our club once more and have many nights like this. However, with our board and our financial structure we will never compete with the elite, simple. COYG ❤️.

I was just thinking that I’ll never experience a night like that following Arsenal under Kroenke.

It will never ever happen.

Agreed Stoner, certainly not in my lifetime.

You never know lads, before Jurgen arrived did any Liverpool fan really believe 97 points was possible? Let alone what's been done tonight!
People say one man can't make a difference but I beg to differ, of course the players have been amazing the fans and board too but Jurgen was the one who arrived and told everyone at Liverpool players, board fans alike what he expected of them all and what they could expect from him also.

{Ed0333's Note - Doubters to Believers

Everything looks impossible until someone achieves it Ed0333 mate, the 4 minute mile was the stuff of fantasy until Sir Roger Banister did it first, then I think 4 others achieved it within a year once he'd proved it doable.

{Ed0333's Note - my wife keeping silent for 10 minutes straight is impossible mate,

Their board spent money

Huge difference.

{Ed0333's Note - we spend money from sales of players.

Too bad we're the worst club on the planet at actually selling players for a profit. Even our best players leave for free.

Hate to say it but we're a bit of a joke club in lots of ways.

Totally agree Eden players have been managed extremely poorly on and off the pitch in terms of contracts and contribution.
It's easy to put Liverpools mega rival down to their board spending but that doesn't paint anything like the true picture.
Yes Alison and Van came in at Big money but they are the icing on the cake not the main substance of it.
Coutinho was Liverpools super hero when Klopp arrived but he wanted out and Liverpool simply used the money to be better without him than with him, we could have had 60 million for Sanchez in the summer of 2017 but instead we got Miki for him in January 2018.
We've been the architects of our own downfall 100% on and off the pitch and simply saying other clubs have had it easier than us because of their board is more wallpaper to cover the wallpaper that's been covering the wallpaper that's been covering the cracks for years.

We can do nothing about the past but learn from it in order to do better in the future and I do think player contracts are now being managed better which is no bad place to start.

And we got what for Sanchez and get what for Ramsey, Arsenal need to have a couple of transfer windows with high spend and high quality. stop bloody looking in the bargain basement.
