Iwobi still does my head in, especially in terms of his final third decision making, but considering that he laid 4 chances on a plate for Auba and Mkhi (2 each) I think he deserves some slack. He remains our best dribbler, always tracks back to help the defence, has bags of pace, and is still young and an Arsenal man through and through.

Not his best performance yesterday, but a very clear upward trend this year and he's convinced me that he can still get better.

I think he has ability but he lacks a brain, doesn't score and rushes everything. i'm waiting for a player too emerge but i think i will still be waiting in 5 years. Reliably unreliable and unremarkable.

I agree, there is still a lot of work to do with Iwobi, particularly in respect of his final ball and his defensive duties. However, he is still young and is improving under Emery.

There has certainly been improvement from Iwobi this year, whether that suggests any more development remains to be seen. He is however, one of the few players that goes past players with pace and disrupts defences. He makes more chances than he did last year, and if he could improves his decision making (by training his brain Steve ;) , and especially shooting, he cold become a very useful player. I hope so.

I hate not liking any player who puts on an Arsenal shirt, as i really wish them all the very best. However that said, i have to say Iwobi is utter garbage. No way would he get in Watford's team, let alone any of the top 6. He is not just consistently not good enough, he is also a liability in defence, allowing players to drift inside time and time again, but most importantly, he is costing us goals. Time and again against Watford, any half decent player, given the room he had, would have either scored or at least created multiple chances for the other forward players. He really has no clue, time and again he gave the ball away, or decided to shoot, which for him means just blasting the ball at someone standing about two foot away. When you look at the wide players of other teams, and sadly let's highlight Tottenham here, they have Ericson and Son playing in the same role as Iwobi. They create chances galore and score plenty, and that is the bar if you have ambitions on winning competitions. Not only is Iwobi not in their league, I would say he is not in their galaxy. The sooner we ship out Iwobi, Mustaphi and Xhaka, the better we will become.

Agree EG, we need better players in those positions you mentioned. All three make far to many errors and at times look like they are brilliant but then completely out of their depth with awful moments in games on a regular basis.
