Not to take anything away from United who pulled off an absolutely fantastic result in Paris with an extremely patched up team but?

Is everyone still screaming for VAR after the United penalty v PSG :-)
Would we accept losing like that on Sunday, with good grace?
I'm in favour of VAR but it won't make fans on the receiving end of a
Contenscios decision feel any less agreeved than if the ref alone gave the decision.

Didn't see it, so can't comment but didn't the ref look at a replay and give it. So it isn't VAR that made the decision as i understand, it was the referee of the game.

Yes Steve your right mate, what I should have said was will people fell less agreeved after VAR than with with a refs instant decision if they still don't agree with it? Ultimately I think we will get less bad decisions which has to be a good thing but I don't think it will stop disappointed fans from being upset with decisions that go against their team.

Knowing what an upstanding and honest guy Neymar is I’m totally in agreement with him that it wasn’t a penalty and the ball actually struck the defenders back. 😂.

Absolutely Stoner, I'm not sure why uafa don't let Neymar be a player/ ref :-) he's already player manager in all but name.

And the one against Madrid on Tuesday and for them in the first leg. I hoped VAR would get rid of contentious decisions, but seems we're still going to get them. Although I was impressed the ref gave ajax the goal, I wonder if he ever refs for uefa again.

I think, especially in Europe, you will always get bias refs towards certain teams. But bit by bit that also will get less and less. The strange thing was, initially i believe the ref didn't give it, it was flagged up by VAR and he looked at the incident and changed his mind. It would be interesting to see how many more CL games he refs in.

I think eventually VAR will become much simpler faster and accurate but no matter how good it gets its always going to upset one set of fans who only want decisions that go there teams way be them right or wrong, if VAR favours their team one week they will love it but if it goes against their team the next week they will be critical of it.
Ultimately only neutral fans want right decisions all the time :-)
