There was once a time when I enjoyed watching arsenal play so much that defeat didn't even bother me. That disappeared in the end of wingers reign, keeps getting worse. We no longer play beautiful football, and we still can't seem to win a game. Did anyone really want emery? Was anyone actually excited or just relieved when they realised it wouldn't be arteta?
Has he done anything or shown any small glimpses that things will change for the better? Defence still woeful, unorganised and seemingly uncoached. Xhaka still starting games, ozil publicly shamed and banished, and the attacking football, with laca and auba, is crap.

Anyone got a positive post in them?

Last season let's not forget we finished 6th and had an embarrassing 3rd round FA Cup loss to a poor Nottingham Forest team. The squad he left was the weakest I can recall for decades and was nearly caught by the likes of Burnley, never mind challenging for a top four spot. This season we are currently in 5th place and despite last night's defeat, we could easily finish the month in the last 16 of the EL and with two winnable PL home matches, in 4th place. Despite a restricted budget the signings made during Emery's time at the club have been decent, withe the exception of stop-gap signing Lichtsteiner, we have to see how Suarez gets on. Emery has had to contend with 3 season ending injuries in a squad that was already numerically challenged. As fans we have to get behind Emery and the team and do our bit. It is half time in the EL and we are still odds on to get through to the last 16,

I minded getting beat 7 0 by Chelsea on Arsenes 1000th game a lot and the pretty football didn't make me feel any better about us being whipping boys.
Emery is looking increasingly incapable of organising us any better than Arsene was, so far he's absolutely no better or worse than Arsene in his final 5 years.
Everyone one knows changing managers is like changing cars, if the old car is no longer reliable you have little choice but sometimes you have to go through a few poor choice replacements before you pick up a car your that is right for you.
We have to give Emery next season but all the signs are we've traded like for like with our first attempt at replacing Arsene.

Its a bit like when your team is losing and the manager sends on another center forward, initially to cheers, but only on a like for like basis to replace the existing center forward. This then gets rightly booed by the fans every-time, mainly against the manager for showing such a massive lack of ambition, organization skills and understanding. Each week we continue as we are, I am starting to get more afraid that our new manager is the equivalent like for like replacement for Wenger. Yes he is stuck by having the same players, and yes, we know footballers are not the sharpest tools in the box, and may struggle to implement a complex new set up a la the Gary Neville I-pad led system at Valencia. However, six months in, and the best he has done is to organize the team to play in the exact same way as Wenger, where the opposition could probably leave the field for 5 minutes knowing we will be wasting everybody's time while we slowly pass the ball side to side for ages without ever getting near to creating a chance (but i guess the player pass completed stats look great! ) is what i don't understand. Change the set up for gods sake. If you try to change but lose, I still think the fans would understand what your trying to achieve, and therefore will be on your side. However, to come in and play exactly the same way as Wenger repeatedly tried and failed, and which was deemed as madness, seems so strange coming from a man who seemed to spout such good ideas and knowledge before he arrived? Yes, he deserves more time and a transfer window assuming he wants to implement major changes to both personnel and play, but if the style we are already playing is it, then why bother giving him more time, as the fans already know it doesn't work, as we have all witnesses it over the last 5 years. We all know this, but I am surprised he doesn't seem to?

I would say 62 Wenger would play his big boys, Dick is worried about upsetting anyone . apart from Xhaka it seems . We have to give him two Summer windows to see how it pans out, though I feel if he fails it’s more to do with lack of funds than his ability.

Should read Dick isn’t worried.

Lack of funds may stop him making us champions Banbury mate but it isn't be money that's preventing him improving us in any way shape or form.
If he can't come up with a better defensive game plan than poor old Arsene could or get more out of our existing players then I'm not sure why we hired him at all.
Money and players may limit what you can achieve but it shouldn't completely nullify absolutely any improvement what so ever.

62 mate, you’ve been mentioning this bad car buy quiet often mate ;) whatever happen you just need to move on mate ;) . Cars can be a bit tricky to buy sometimes 😝.
As for the rest, I’m just fed up already with the way he’s handling ozil amd ramsey, playing xhaka regularly whatever his performances is like. Beside the our team lack organisations at the back we lack creativity.
Ok iwobi run at defenders but 99.9% of it is pointless. Micki not himswlf and playing out of position. I seriously can see anything different tactically on the pitch.
