Although i agree that we need to give Emery a transfer window or two so he can build his own team, i have to confess i am not overly optimistic that we will have a positive transfer window in the summer. I see each of our top 6 competitors, and in fact most of Europes top teams, entering the transfer market with one single objective; how to strengthen their squad. However with us, I fear it will be a different single objective; how to lower our wage bill. I fear the players who depart will be based on their earnings rather than what they contribute to the team, and each will be replaced by a cheaper alternative. If we are savvy, then it may go well, and teams like Ajax are again a reminder that you don't have to be Real Madrid Galcticos to succeed. However, don't be surprised if rather than just the unliked/ unused players go, such as a Mustafi and Jenkinson, but also some of our more useful, popular, but ultimately expensive players, such as a Lacca or Aubey, and of course Ozil, if any taker is found. What do others think?
