Hopefully so but let's see a bit more of him before we get over excited, he's new and like most new signings needs a bit of time to adjust but 1 good game doesn't make a player.
5 games in and one good game but fingers crossed it's just the start the best is yet to come.

Totally agree on that SY mate, anyone who can't find the humility and strength to put their hands up and say I got that one wrong will always live in a bubble of self delusion.

He is obviously a very good defender, with a lot of experience, the problem was/ is that it wasnt in the prem. It is a far quicker league and arsenal are a far more open team than he is used to. He needs time to acclimatise.

Definitely Steve like Dick all the new players need time, both those who have started well and those who haven't.
Aaron has been living off that one season for 5 years and Jack lived off that Barcelona game for his years too while Nacho Monreal has had to work very hard for years to get any recognition at all.
We have to be more balanced as fans where we don't write people off after a handful or games but equally don't accept underachievement for prolonged periods off the back of previous achievement.
Peole say your only as good as your last game but that's silly, but I think rating people over their last 10 games is fair.
