Englands coming home!

Agree0 Disagree0

You are English - right?

I am more annoyed than you. So annoyed. Angry at the team as Croatia were not a tough team and we could have seen England in a World Cup final - a final.

That and Federer got knocked out - shite sports day, just plane shite.

Yep to many spuds in the team.

11 Jul 2018 22:23:42
Still can’t believe people thought they might win it. Never going to happen and on the bright side after some of their thick as mince fans bragged about how many spuds were still at the World Cup, they’re now all knackered, injured and deeply depressed.

Now that’s a result. 😂.

Yes Sy i am but i have my feet firmly in the ground. Lol.

I don't see spuds and Mancs when it comes to England, I see English men representing their country.
Players change clubs but nationality is permanent.
I thought Deli Ali was excellent tonight and Walker in my opinion was immense Kane worked hard for the team but wasn't great, they gave thier all for their country, what more could they do.

Kane could have and should have scored

Agree with Walker statement

Not sure nationalities don’t change - Arteta could have played for England when he was with us and was Guggs Welsh and Greg the Canadian sorry British tennis player.

I get your point but some pick and choose their nationalities. Birth place should be the rule

I thought Senegal was in France - Vierra.

Sterling is from Jamaica while in prior years

Other England players born outside the UK include Sky Sports pundit John Salako (Nigeria) , Owen Hargreaves (Canada) , John Barnes (Jamaica) , Cyrille Regis (French Guiana) , Brian Stein (South Africa) , Tony Dorigo (Australia) , Luther Blissett (Jamaica) and Terry Butcher (Singapore) .

You can elect to be English and I am sure nations fight over players.

11 Jul 2018 23:50:18
True SY it is possible for the tiny minority to chose their nationality but once chosen it's extremely rare for it to change.
I'm born English and wouldn't want to change that but I'm sure I would feel the same where ever I was born or bright up at least.
If i was born in Britain but moved to say Portugal when you were a year old I'm sure I'd feel Portuguese and want to play for Portugal.
