Hey Guys, calling in from the Liverpool to ask a question. With Jack Wilshere announcing his leaving the club today how do you fans and maybe the eds if they are about feel about him as a player? He had so much potential but just never seemed to live up to the hype imo. (Tell me if I'm wrong as I don't watch a lot of arsenal) .
I know he had injuries hindering his career but was their an attitude problem as well? He always seemed a bit off the pace I thought.
In his early days I thought he was going to be a world beater but just never happened. and wondered why.
Any thoughts/ banter appreciated! Good luck for next season I got a feeling you will be right in the mix with ourselves and city!

He smoked and didn't have enough drive to be the best. But to be fair, he got paid hundreds of thousands of pounds to play football regardless, and obviously would rather carry on playing football than sitting on the bench. Fair play to the lad, I'd smoke too.

Sad to see Wilshere go, but he failed to fulfill his early promise. Interestingly reports that the likes of Crystal Palace and West Ham are interested in him and not Europe's top clubs.
I like the fact that Emery has started clearing out the old brigade who were far too comfortable and has brought in his own backroom staff and has started overhauling the playing staff.

It's the right move for both Jack and the club. Let's be fair he was overplayed as a kid and has dodgy ankles. I've always thought he has a problem with both feet as when his foot lands it more on the outside of his feet rather than flat. This is what's causing problems for him.
He has a decent future in the game but not now sadly, at the very top. But ya got to wish him well.

Now only Aaron remains of a golden generation that never happened, Gibbs Ox Theo Jack all who were supposed to forefill all their potential at Arsenal anf lead us to geat things are now elsewhere.
It is a separation from a past with a 4th place mentality especially with Mertesacker retiring too.
No one knows what the future holds but at least we trying a different way now from one which never really happened as it was supposed to.
