Does any ed know the role Thierry Henry is going to be offered? I think its assistant manager.

Ed with you thinking arteta is a risk but you also believing that Mislintat and Sahelini are great additions, how do u vision Arsenal’s future?
{Ed002's Note - They (the club) have made a mess of the recruitment of a new manager/head coach. I said some time back that the sensible approach was something else:
"On the plus side Carlo Ancelotti is available, lives in London and is interested in the position and can work within the revised management structure that Arsenal is putting in place. His age, Carlo is close to 60 now, might actually favour him as well as it may allow a succession plan with a future younger manager might be an attractive option. And that might open the door to an ex player (perhaps Henry, Bergkamp or Arteta or whoever to move in to a supporting role after gaining more experience."
And yes, Arteta is a risk. If it doesn't work out they will need to make a change and that is certainly not something they want.}

I find it weird how they didn’t appoint Ancelotti as manager to be honest, but do you still trust Mislintat and the other guy to make the correct appointments on a limited budget?

There's seems to be a lot of interest in contact ex players for the job (henry, arteta, viera) and other functions in the club.
Ed, do you know what is the thought beneath this approachment? I doesn't seems necessarily as a skills or competencies orientated approach, as neither of them has a very outstanding CV until now.
It's only a matter of remaining options?
{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest in Viera. Options have been dropping off due to various reasons - as I have generally explained. There are other options but this is where the club has dug the hole so far.}

Oh my. I was hopping for some board's enlightened reasons commanding this decisions that we don't know about.
