As always lots of differing opinions and with Wenger leaving there's definitely going to be a lot of variations in them.

I personally am chuffed he's called it a day and last season would have been even better. It was good to see the out pour of appreciation and love for the guy at the Burnley game, especially from those fans that had finally had enough and spoke with their feet rather than banners and planes.

So change is and has been happening and I've long voiced my dislike of Silent Stan because of the mediocre records of his American clubs where winning isn't the be all.

But the change has been more evident since he sent his son Josh, I think that's his name, over to sort out this change and with 3 new guys in top posts, Wenger gone and a lot of his back room staff out too, then maybe we are underestimating what Josh wants to achieve and not his dad.

I know a lot have concerns about Arteta because that really is a leap into the unknown but with the positive stuff that's been happening then I'm going with the flow because he would have a great team behind him.

The seasons are pretty much done across Europe so all players and managers can't yet be discounted so let's just wait and see.

Lastly, what did Leicester do the season before they won the League and what did Chelsea do last time around before they won the league.

As always we want the club to be positive yet some many fans remain negative, we'll be 6th, will we challenge for the title etc.

Let's see who comes in, players, managers, back room staff and see where we go from there.

It really is a new dawn and something to be excited about.

Totally agree Stoner mate, brilliant post.
We are swapping what so obviously wasn't working for the unknown which may or may not work out to be better, but at least we are trying to do something about our situation now and I don't see how that can possibly be a bad thing.
If your car won't start and kicking the tyres hasn't helped for 14 consecutive mornings can it to realy hurt to pop the bonnet and take a look at what else it might be that's stopping it working ?

Spot on stoner. Like I said in another post, football is not an exact science and a good vibe is better than a world class player. For me with tha Arteta talk it isn’t so much as if he can do the job but the fact I can see a divide fan base. We need to hit the ground running.

If you want people get behind you then you have to offer them a reason to do so, the more often you disappoint them the more of an ask it is to back the same old plan again and again.
So far nether the new coach or the Sven men have let anyone down so why not give them the benefit of the doubt and back them at least until they give you a reason not to.

Last season it was plain to see why we were going to struggle because all the old problems were still there so how could things possibly improve things are going to be different next season whether they will be better or not nobody knows but just the possibility is exciting for me.
