Hello eds and fellow gooners, the daily mail is now suggesting that henry will meet Arsenal representatives for an interview, is it usual speculation or do you see any substantial truth in it? Do you see him as one of the candidates? And also now that SM is scouting players, is sokratis an option? Thankyou for the brilliant work.

They rang Viera so who knows.

All we are reading is rookie ex players, arteta, vierra (albeit token gesture) and henry. No smoke without fire but it seems they are going for cheap rather than paying for experience. At least when the guy is appointed everyone will know what the ambition is. Although according to gazidis, we are looking and searching hard for the right man for the job.

17 May 2018 17:38:43
Steve would I be right in thinking you are missing Arsene a little and feeling a little lost without the campaign to get him out :-)

17 May 2018 18:00:02
I’m seriously hoping it’s nothing like that steve.

17 May 2018 18:17:04
No gunner, i just think that it obvious what we need and don't need. But i won't ever miss wenger, arteta or a n other. Its not that i think arteta may not be an inspired choice, i just think he is possibly on the face of it, the worse choice. I can't help it but i just don't see him as an arsenal manager. I could see henry or vierra or even adams, i'm sure about any of them either but i do see the passion for winning and class with them, i just don't see arteta. I don't know many who would have him as the main choice either. It just doesn't seem to fit.

17 May 2018 18:17:56
But when he wins the double next season, i may change my mind. Lol.

17 May 2018 18:21:51
Sano, so do i because we have a great chance to change things and we actually have a base to work from. We have a decent attack and atacking midfield. Unlike man u who were winning things with a fantastic manager with an aging squad.

17 May 2018 18:27:04
What two away wins in a row steve 😂.

17 May 2018 19:13:39
Well Steve it's hard not to agree with you, because Arteta never comes off as someone who would eat your head off If you weren't on his side. But my ray of light is that maybe because he's been around players like puyol, iniesta etc in his young days and has seen Guardiola, Wenger (and even Moyes, haha jk) , poch looks very impressed and a few current players (hector, Nacho) have previously said in their interview that arteta is someone who is destined to become a big manager. We can just get behind him and hope that this bold move works because in my head, Arteta is already our new manager and can't handle ozil 😶.

17 May 2018 19:23:12
I meant not sure about henry vierra or adams. I missed the not out. Lol.

17 May 2018 19:24:44
Sano, the away form was down to the poor defence. You don't win away if you aren't solid.

17 May 2018 19:57:28
Tony Adams Steve :-) have you taken leave of your senses completely man :-)
I'm not saying Artetta is the right choice but as we stand he's not anyone's choice as no one has chosen anyone yet.
Let's just wait and see because according Sky we ain't got to wait long as tomorrow is the big meeting day isn't it :-)

Gunner, i have corrected myself, i forgot the not. My point is the other three as ex arsenal players are icons, nothing to do with their ability. We don't know any of their abilities really but i don't look at arteta in the same mould as the others and neither do most of the fans. As i have said i don't want a rookie at all, it was just where they are in afc folklore because that's all we have to go on all of them really.

17 May 2018 21:06:25
Have to agree steve. No rookie no bookie no hookie and no artettttttta!

17 May 2018 21:44:05
Gunner, the benzema transfer has juat reared its ugly head again. We have representatives talking with him now apparently. Lol.

17 May 2018 21:51:30
I agree with you Steve. To be honest all I want is the toxicity in the fanbase diminishes, it's really a sad affair. But that really gives no excuse to the owners and the board to get Arteta, surely there is a better option out there waiting to be contacted. I'm onboard with Rafa too, atleast he will be able to get some character and zest into the players. This decision is really a big one as it tests the mentality and ambition of our board. With a pragmatic approach towards our squad rebuilding, we really can do well next season.
