I see where you are coming from Dags but we need a fit striker and firing from lacca or welbeck for the most important thing for this club, the EL. The league really does not matter in the great scheme of things, 6th is ours whatever, whoever plays. If Auba scores 16 goals between now and the end of the season, how is that going to benifit this season's big prize. Its a conundrum and a bit of a mess. I wonder if we actually bought auba thinking he could play in the EL, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Get real. Let’s keep our record signing on the bench and have him wanting to leave by the summer. Danny understands and will not start over auba. A man with a wooden head wouldn’t start him over auba.

I think he bought him with the idea he score a hatrick in every game to make up for the two we were always likely to conceed especially away from home Steve:-)
Seriously I thank buying Pea was designed to and achieved in defusing the poor feeling over losing Sanchez.
Sanchez may be struggling at utd but for us he remains our best post invincibles signing.

Play Auba and Laca, when fit, in PL.
Keep Welbz on bench for PL and use him (and Laca) in EL.
EL is our main (only) , priority.

Dags not saying i don't agree but how fit/ good is lacca going to be for the last few weeks. He will take a few full games to get back. Will he and welbeck stay fit? At least we shouldn't see iwobi no morethis season.

Play Auba and get Laca match fit in PL.
Than, we have a fit Welbz and Laca ready for EL.

I do actually think a fully fit welbeck and lacca with ozil and myki are a real handful. The problem will be how do we get them fit and firing. I think welbeck is still behind on sharpness so lacca will be even more so. Form will only come with games. At the same time auba can't be left out.
