Hearing mertesacker interview where is he is saying he'd rather not play again because of the physical and mental burden for some reason really annoyed me. Just explains a lot when our captain comes out with something like that. Not really the mental attitude of a leader to me.

It's not good but at least it's honest and I'd rather not have him on the pitch pretending.

Just like Artetta Rosicky before him he's good in the changing room apparently, which is handy just imagine where we'd be without their input and had to rely on players who we pay to be good on the pitch instead.
Makes you think doesn't it :-)
