Cant see any games at mo but read reports and seen minimal highlights. How ever it is dressed up it is shameful however to yer again go 2-0 down in a big game. let's not forget we were at home and everything in our favour. i'm just pleased i ain't in the country to face the smug man u plonkers.

Agree0 Disagree1

Too many players that are too comfortable at a club where their mistakes go unpunished week after week. Was painful to watch Steve even though we looked pretty good at times.

We always start off slow on big games, find ourselves a few goals down within 15 mins, than start chasing the game.

There are a few positives from the game, but a 1-3 home defeat to a main rival is not good, however you dress it up.

It's been said and accepted by most on here by the pundits by other clubs and other fans for years
The current people at Arsenal football club lack ambition beyond money, champions league money and a season ticket sell out are where the clubs heart is.
This has filted through to the players and we have all witnessed the cosy club in full flow.
Lack of investment ambition quality of players passion and comittiment have been missing for long long periods of time and when they have surfaced here and there they have been fleeting. The mentality of everyone at Arsenal football club has been called into question more times than John Motson has been heard on match of the day.
But the last 4 games we have seen passion commitment fight from the players that hasn't always been there as it should be as standard, it's an improvement on what Troy Deeney publicly stated that's for sure.
Does it make everything OK? No but it does at least make the team worth bothering with again, the club has always been wortb bothering with but the current manager and team have lost an awful lot of people's interest and anything than reverses that has to be good in my book.

Steve you nearly won it. I see some posters on here were happy with playing well and losing. for me I'd rather win and get the 3 points.
For arsenal you need to keep ozil and Sanchez till the end of the season otherwise it will be a rough ride.

Steve,

There is NO way to dress that up, we have been picking out and highlighting individual games as some kind of highlight of a season for way way too long.

If there was an exact blue print for that game then we went right along and played it.

A team supposedly buzzing, 100% home record, playing Mustafi, Koscielny and Monreal together had resulted in no goals conceded, playing Sanchez, Lacazette and Ozil had resulted in win, win, win. We were at home.

Both of United’s 90 million pound players didn’t even show up, bar one run and cross, ably assisted by Koscielny and a shocking tackle. They’re still looking for Lucacku.

Yet somehow we manage to capitulate AGAIN.

I don’t give a flying one if we the peppered the shizzle out of their goal or that on another day we could have won 19-0.

We didn’t, instead of 1 point behind 2nd we are 7, I’ll repeat, 4 points from 15 against the top six. Out of, a so already non existent, title challenge on December the 4th.

Have we convinced Sanchez and Ozil to stay, was our manager on the touch line, as Guardiola was yesterday, urging his team, telling his team, guiding his team to victory. No as usual he was sat on his arse.

I am genuinely sick of this utter pants. That game counts for absolutely nothing and shows we are once again happy bloody losers!

I’m not interested in Europa Dopa or FA Cups and we are so far away from winning a real trophy it’s sickening. 😡

Oh and please stop playing that halfwit Xhaka and admit your mistake and go buy Leon Goretzka.

We were never going to challenge for the title this season and we probably won't for a few more yet.
Without addressing out how could we?
Ask any European fan to name Arsenals 4 most famous current players and most will say Sanchez Ozil Kos Cech, 2 of those won't be here next September while Kos will be 33 and Cech 36. Leaving us with what exactly to build on?
It's difficult to see anything getting any better anytime soon and we can't dictate who owns and managers the club and how they go about doing it.
The only positive I can see at the moment is the players seem to have found some effort responsibility and passion from somewhere in all of the last 4 games and at least that's a positive even if it should always have been there without question.
The result on Saturday may have been all to familiar as might the unnecessary sloppy mistakes but at least this time they didn't simply lay down and surrender as they have so often in the past.

04 Dec 2017 15:35:46
Boys another thing that United and arsenal lack at the moment is a leader on the pitch, I know we will never see a Keane v Viera again.
Looking at arsenals line up the weekend and no British player in the starting line up.
Are the majority of players now just happy to pick up the pay cheque?

04 Dec 2017 15:59:29
Ramsey? But no English players true.
Good English players come at a premium so that rules us out of buying ready made and we ain't so good at talent spotting or producing as we were either.
I always think lesser konow players who come in from other countries get more of a chance than motel well known british premier league players.
If Joe Allen or Johnny Evans or Charlie Austin were brought in they'd get slaughted as not being good enough before they kicked a ball yet Elney and Perez were treated as hero's and brilliant signings before peope had ever seen them play.
I've always found that a bit strange myself.

04 Dec 2017 16:10:48
United ‘90 million pound players not turning up’ doesn’t take away from Arsenal’s performance perhaps the 90 million pound players aren’t allyou assume they are after all they never turned up? (Just playing devils advocate) Leahy I’ve seen some of your fans aren’t completely happy with your style at times too but as you said winnings winning and I think fans always find something to moan about. I like your point about lacking leaders, that issue isn’t solely yours, Liverpool, Everton, spurs, all suffer from something similar! Perhaps a dying breed in football?

04 Dec 2017 17:10:48
A dying breed is right .
The gerrards, scholes, Keane, lampard. terry, Adams, just to name a few.
There's no home team players now that would lace their boots.

04 Dec 2017 19:48:02
Kane and Bale wouldn't be out of place in that company.

04 Dec 2017 21:20:27
Bale a fine player when fit.
But the sick note every few games might rule him out, plus the haircut doesn't help😀.

05 Dec 2017 13:18:22
he really should sort his barnet out, although i suppose he thinks that at least if everyone is staring at his head then they aren't looking at his long ugly boat.
