Lies, promises and false hopes. This has been going on for 10 years. We are a club in crisis and have been for years.

Some of us on here have been telling you the problems at the club for years, only to be told were not true supporters of the club.
Well, I personally will carry on the fight to remove that tyrant from the club I love.

Just go Wenger!

You tell them Malaga, sadly I think you are right.

Malaga I think it's about time this club finally after this window now has gone, fully and committed stick together as one. We should thank Wenger for uniting us this summer, remember the way and don't forget how he himself has swung the support for Wenger out, like no one anywhere could have done and so swiftly. Please let this agony end.

Correct Mal . sometimes the truth hurts.

I think everyone is too harsh on Wenger.

Look at the overall picture. He is doing a fantastic job.

I fully agree with Dagenham Gunner. Of course we can all be critical, me included, but in the cold light of day, since Wenger has been at the club we have had new training facilities, a new ground and many trophies. Over the last 4 seasons we have won 3 FA Cups and 3 Community Shields, I doubt there are many other clubs in the PL, if any, that have lifted 6 trophies over the same period. We have had CL football every season since Wenger arrived, except thiis season, when we misssed out by finishing 5th, one place outside the top four and even them we have EL football. Financially we are in a superb position with a healthy bank balance and virtually no debt.
Wenger clearly is and has been one of the top mangers in World football, which has been achieved by using his own methods. He has become a victim of his own methods, which mean that many fans are almost bored by having had him at the club so long. Don't forget that fans would have to be in their late 20's to even have remembered a time when he wasn't our manager and seasons when we didn't compete for anything. I even recall finishing 17th in the old 1st Division and I think 11th under George Graham.
The difficulty these days is that clubs such as Man C, Man U and Chelsea have virtually unlimited funds, whilst other cubs such as Everton and Liverpool are spending heavily. A couple of lightweights such as Leicester and the Toot have punched above their weight, one of them still having won nothing for years. Even the clubs lower down the league have sufficient funds raised through TV money to retain their better players. Look at Southampton who could fend off Liverpool from buying Van Dyke.
Yes, of course we would love Wenger to throw off his self-imposed shackles and spend heavily on a 2 or 3 world class players, but that has never been his way and never will. The current flavours of the month are Pochettino who has won absolutely nothing in his managerial career and Klopp who has won nothing in his two seasons at Liverpool.
We have to appreciate that he has cleverly put togther teams at relatively low cost. Look at the signings of Sanchez £32m, Ozil £42m and even Lacazette at what today is a lowish fee for a top forward of £50m. Never mind bargains such as Koscielny, Kolasinac, etc.
Despite all our frustrations we still have a fine squad with players that many clubs want to sign. So let's get behind Wenger and the team and stop moaning, as he will be extremely difficult to replace and we will look back favourably when he evenatullay departs.

Some good points fairly made, but, football is a results based industry. I spent most of my working life in sales, if any salesman on his review ever said well for the last 10 yrs I've done. It was a goodbye, it's about now.
Are you working to your max ability now? Are your accounts producing to the required level now? If not thanks and goodbye.
Is Arsene producing to his own high standards no.
Are his players producing to the required level. no
The Lamar Sanchez farce on the final day proves that the club is not functioning at a top level. He's bought players then wants them out the next season, so his decision making is poor.
Sadly he is no longer an elite manager so needs to be replaced. There are many other examples these are just from the last week!
