I just need to get this off my chest because I'm starting to get annoyed with fans blind loyalty towards The Ox. He is not a Full Back or RWB. He is not better than Monreal, Gibbs and no where near as good as Bellerin in that position. He can certainly run with the ball and cross well but he neglects his defensive responsibilities and can't tackle to save his life. The Ox' s natural position is part of a front 3 or behind a striker. The guy should be no where near a defence to save his life. Bellerin s form is suffering to make room for The Ox because Wenger wants him to sign a new contract. But at the end of the day if there isn't a position for him then sell and buy players we need for this new formation. And to all those fans getting on Bellerins back to hype up the Ox, Barcelona and Guardiola both wanted Bellerin because he's an immense FB and has been in the BPL team of the year! That's his capabilities but he's being shifted around like so many other players at the moment he can't build momentum. At the end of the day if The Ox loved Arsenal he would've signed a new contract by now!

Perhaps he wants to win trophies.

Just be wary of crowing to early AJH. You boys look a damn site better than you have for a long time but the season is far too young to be flocking over here. Let's get it straight Arsenal have been a far better team than united since fergie and we have been shocking. Let that sink in.

Sanogo. I don't disagree but if SAF had gone 14 years without winning the League he would have been gone. I like Arsenal but it seems Wenger has too much power, he was a breath of fresh air when he came but he's stuck around too long.

I wasn't crowing, I was having a bit of fun. I don't think we will win it this year but I do not expect progress and see us competing.

Here's a thought for all of us, this year it will be 28 years since Liverpool won the league, 28! Fergie leaving caused us no end of trouble and we are now on Manager number 3 since he went, Liverpool have chopped and changed regularly to no avail. Interesting to see how you boys cope when you need a new man at the helm.

I can see you winning it! Not been sour or anything but I think that you haven't looked great I either of your wins but you have put 8 away. Now this will be hard to take in but I think we played a lot better thsn you guys yesterday and we lost and you romped home . I have always said mourinho is SAF natural successor and have heard countless united fans whine on about him. But just looking at your squad and how you play just can't see you having to much competition . City will be a threat next year Chelsea look to have problems (have a good look later at them) and spurs suffer from small club syndrome and Liverpool used to be brilliant 50 years ago but won't put up a serious challenge.

Ox has. Been our best player for the two games so far methinks. He is designed to play wing back and does it fantastically. Bellerini for me is not cut out for the current formation. He excels in a back four, but in a back three it's like he doesn't know what he should be doing. Ox deserves RWB, Kolasinac the LWB, then the three CBs Mustafi, Kos and Holding. Chambers can come in for injured CBs

Just my opinion though.

I'm fully behind you with that train of thought rue.

I would be quite prepared to sell Ox for the right price. His best position is a CAM but he is just not going to play in that position for us not with Ozil around and in the current formation. He played decent yesterday but by Wenger trying to squeeze him in the side he put the right footed Bellerin on the wrong side and in turn lost the threat of Kolasanic at LWB and then in turn weakaning our defence by have two fullbacks/ wing backs in the back 3. Sell him and get someone like Cavarlho ha will improve the defensive side of our midfield.

28 years ago who'd have thought that's it that's Liverpools last title for 3 decades at least and in 2004 who would have thought Arssnal wouldn't go on to dominate the premier league for years to come let alone never win another title under Le prof?
It's a funny old game as the once dominant Leeds and former European champions forest and villa will tell you.

Rue, I am with you. I wonder if we were settled with a back 3 and Ox had signed his contract if 40m would have seen Bellerin sold.?

For me it's simple LWB Kola RWB Ox

Ox doesn't have the touch / vision to play CAM at the moment and doesn't resist the urge to plough forward so CDM or CM roles won't happen in the current structure

Per should have been in the back 3, pushed Nacho to left side CB, Kola LWB and Ox RWB. We are asking to be attacked playing how we set up against Stoke.
