Yes dreadful player, i mean, what's he ever won, apart from the European Championship with Portugal.! The only reason perhaps why others have been scared off is i seem to remember Ed02 stating he had a complicated contract, perhaps with more than one owner? Otherwise he fits the position we need, he is a winner, and he can play, and he is way under 30, unlike others such as Mutuidi.

Saying that I did hear few weeks back he hasn't been the same player since his injury. Just have to trust the guys at the club I guess. Remember when we was crying out for m'villa. Thank f*** we kept clear of him.

Yes Ed told us that his situation is difficult but I thought third party ownership of players was illegal now? Perhaps that's just in England.

Nzonzi would be a great signing and he's playing some of the best football of his career. He wouldn't be one of the most sought after midfielders in La Liga otherwise. As for Carvalho, most other teams don't need him in the top flight because they have already have players in that position.
Whereas, we have needed to fill the empty space for years. We should sign one of them and play them along side Xhaka or Ramsey. Strength in the middle as well as great creative play going forward.

Agree with you Derby. Watch a lot of Spanish footy on TV and Nzonzi was brilliant for Seville last season, and he plays in exactly the role that we are crying out for. Add to that he is way over 6ft, so handy defending corners. I wouldn't be unhappy if he came back to the prem with us.
