Aloha fellow gooners. Just want to say, with all talk about past transfers and potential new players. Best piece of business done in last couple of years has been signing holding. Think this lad is going to be awesome. Value all your posts, even the miserable ones make me laugh 😠ðŸ‘.

Holding looks like a really good prospect, just hope people don't expect to much to soon from the lad.
John Stones two years ago was on the verge of becoming the best CB the country has seen for years but now and Belerin got some serious stick last season for not being the finished article simply because he couldn't carry people's expectations as high as they thought he should.

Yes, Holding was an excellent signing and he must be given more game time this season. With the EL, League Cup and FA Cup matches a possibility for him. At the end of next season Mertesacker retires and he can be brought through to form a trio with Koscielny and Mustafi.

Mustafi Kos and Monreal won't all stay fit and suspension free for the entire season so Holding will get his experience as and when it comes throughout the season.
