Absolutely hate the way Aulus conducts business.

Frankly, if Aulus drags it out, I don't blame Wenger at all and would rater he moves onto other targets.

Let's not make Wenger the scapegoat for what others do wrong.

Agree he seems a right pain. He said lacazette can leave. Now says arsenal have made a very nice offer but he is staying with us. He's messing us around clearly. Hopefully Arsene sticks his middle finger up and moves onto another target especially if we are wasting our time.

It's called "negotiation" guys! Aulas can do and say as he likes: it's up to Arsenal and our representatives to get a deal, not expect the club who has who we want to roll over and accept out offer.
Look at the deals Spurs Chairman gets for his players (exception: Sissoko - tee hee! ) .

We could do the same when it comes to clubs wanting our players, or are you suggesting that when Manchester City come calling for Alexis or Barcelona express a desire to sign Bellerin we should politely inquire "how much for? " and accept their kind and generous offers?

Actually, that feels like it is exactly what we DO do sometimes.

Max it's not called negotiation it's called being a dick. He's apparently very difficult to deal with. Normal clubs say so and so can leave for that much then when met they accept. But from what I've heard he just changes his mind and wants more from English clubs. That's not negotiating.

hes sold many players to many clubs. I think we should look a little closer to home lads.

It's ridiculous that some are going to use this as an excuse to blame our manager or board. Read what the guy said. Arsenal made a very nice offer. Didn't say it was crap or well below asking price.

Being "a dick" as you call it D16 IS part of negotiation and it's entirely subjective.
I'm not saying I like it, but Messrs Law, Gazidis and Wenger ought to be well enough versed in this by now - heaven knows they've let enough deals slip through their fingers over the years!
When Lacazette signs for another club, slams in 35 goals and wins the Golden Boot/ Premier League/ Champions league with another club* will we have to endure hearing Mr Wenger mumble how we "nearly had him last year, except for the fact that we actually didn't get him" just like Kante and Mbappe (and even Ibrahimovic! ) and then blame Aulas somehow that it's all his fault and nothing to do with him.
* OK, it's not a give, but you get my point.

I basically read that statement close with that offer but not quite enough please come back with abit more. Not sure to be honest if Lacazette is really any better than Giroud different type of striker and for me is more a upgrade on Walcott than Giroud. Would love Mbappe as I think he would fit very well into our style and could be the next Henry. Problem is Giroud is not keen on moving back to France by all accounts so could be difficult in trying to use him as leverage.
