Reports that we are considering purchasing Mahrez. With an askin price reported to be £50m, what are the thoughts of fellow gooners? What dies this mean for Theo if we sign Mahrez to play wide right?

Personally I think 50 million is way to much for a player who had one fantastic season two years ago.
Last season he looked average and before they no one had heard of him so I'd say 20 million max for a player who as we stand is a one season wonder.

Last season, I would have took him for 30 mil, wouldn't touch him this season after the way he's performed at everything. For me worth no more than 15 mil. The bigger teams will steer clear.

Strangely, I find myself agreeing with Steve. 15 mil at best is what he's worth based on his last season. However, I wouldn't like to see him in an Arsenal shirt.

Not good enough same as lemar and turan we need people to improve our team Walcott scored more of the bench than some of these not saykngbhes the answer but we need better, personllay I think we need a world class striker world class winger and another world class cm then let's challenge for the title.

Like Jelfy says, target a much better striker. Whilst Wenger said in his BEIN sports interview yesterday that he hasn't bid on Mahrez yet I hope he doesn't bother.
In the same interview he said neither Sanchez nor Ozil were leaving but added unless they really want to.

Not at 50Million no. Mahrez has yet to prove himself consistently to be worth that kind of value. 20-25mill is more the ball pack figure I would say for him. I think we can spend our money more wisely. Keeping Sanchez is a must for me, even it means losing Ozil to afford his wages.
