We go into the last day of the season with things out of our hands with the odds stacked well against us getting the two results we need to both go our way and almost totally reliant on another team to pull off a shock win and bail us out.
A far from unfamiliar situation for us and although I've never actually seen it myself that 4th place trophy does seem to have boomerang like qualities with the instinct of a homing pigeon when it comes to finding its way home.

The simple fact is that Kroenke doesn't need to sell and Arsenal has proven to be a very successful investment, doubling his investment. It must be remembered that Usmanov has never promised to invest his own funds in purchasing players. He wanted an issue for fans to invest in to fund a £100m transfer spend. It appears that if Wenger stays on, it will be with a new, well needed, structure, similar to the one Usmanov has suggested, with a vision to incuding Wenger in the difficult task of replacing himself. It's interesting that despite Wemger stating that a decision would be made earlier, we now have to wait until after the Cup final. Other interesting factors are that PSG failed to win the French league and lost the second leg of the CL tie against Barca, despite having a big lead. In addition Alllegri hasn't signed a deal at Juve. With Wenger's strong ties to PSG, it is a strong possibility that he will take over the managers job at the club, whilst Allegri would be a popular choice to replace him at Arsenal. The FA Cup final gives Wenger two options, either we lose and then he states that he has taken the club as far as he is able to or if we win he can bow out on a high. If he has agreed to stay on then why not. Reveal it before the final?
