Good win for us yesterday. It amazes me how we're all jumping on here moaning and complaining when we lose. But not a peep when we won last night. What is wrong with us haha.

It was a good win 16 mate St Mary's is never easy to go to and win.
I think the problem is if we did sneak top 4 people will naturally ask why we can always rally and come up with the minimum requirements to maintain things just as they are.
If the manager and players can do it when they really need to for their own sake why can't they show the same effort all season for the sake of the fans and club, each and every season they produce just enough to save thier jobs, coincidence?
They do seem to have got themselves into a situation where by every time they do actually turn up in a game it asks more questions than it answers.
It's difficult to see how the cost club can continue much longer with or without Arsene in charge, now that the blinkers have finally slipped off the vast majority of fans it's difficult to see how they are ever going to go back on again.
Change is impossible to prevent now and the only question for Arsene and his merry men is whether they are part of that change or fall by the wayside as change leaves them behind.

Maybe the players have smelt the coffee and realised the fact without champions league they will not be making any headlines or be in the public eye. their egos will be deflated
Its a shame that if they had shown the same motivation they have in the last few weeks for all of the season then we may have been challenging for more honours.
This comes down to player mentality and of course management technique. The board and wenger have realised without champions league the money and attraction will not be there.
It puzzles me why wenger doesn't let the fans know if he is staying or going. either way just tell us for gods sake he is paid 8 million a year. the club was here before he came and will remain after he goes. i think he believes his own importance too much. the weak board and arrogant wenger has shown disrespect to loyal fans who want to know where the club is heading. it affects players, fans even potential players coming in. the fa cup and recent good form is just papering over the cracks of a far bigger issue.

I still think its not cut and dry. There agreement hasn't been reached and with them wanting a director of football and he doesnt. If he's waiting to try get 4th I think his way is accepted. If not he either accepts the change or goes with my gut feeling saying he walks. I don't think no top4 and a change is bad thing if not I see a repeat season.

Win the cup and say farewell perfect end I feel.

Excellent responses guys. Seems the players have smelt the coffee. I personally think we should be getting behind them more. Let's be honest if we lost last night how many people would be posting on here slating them? But we won and there was no posts. Amazing. Nothing will change the fact we need change but a bit of positivity is needed.

True that, I asked the same thing not long ago hahhaha,
It seems like we aren't used to winning and write our happy thoughts no more lol.
Good win nonetheless.

I'm guessing no one was really celebrating yesterday's win, much like the one against United, yes we put to bed the worst unbeaten run ever, 25 games was it to move from 6th to 6th, beat the most expensively assembled pile of pants in the Premiership and yes we won away at Southampton and ultimately it would be daft of anyone not to want a top 4 finish and even an FA Cup win but it's all a bit like the last drunken person at the Xmas do with the hat on sat in the corner vainly trying to get a note out of the party blower.

So in essence none of it really means a lot, it's another flat end to another disappointing season, pretty much like the previous 13 or 14 to be fair.

That isn't exciting mate, it's about a million miles from exciting and I really don't want to dig out Wenger but I think the vast majority of fans are almost stuck in a state of limbo.

No one knows, bar himself, what Wenger is going to do and no one really knows if they have the stomach for a few mores years of this. There is a state of apathy almost.

I want to go into next season with reasons to be cheerful not ready for another huge dollop of this.

We, like everyone else is not entitled or guaranteed to have success, I'd put money on it that not one United fan expected to go this long and probably longer still without a premier league title. You could say the same of Liverpool.

But like us, having won titles, they would expect to challenge for more, but under our current management, no matter how much we want it to happen, we don't remotely look like doing that.

I stayed positive and genuinely believed he could do it up until last season and now I'm just not kidding myself anymore that he can and it really concerns me that he is actually doing us more harm than good now.

I really really hope that's not the case but that's the way it feels.

The reason is our season in reality as it stands is over and we are all flat. Things can change but as it stands there is nothing we can do but win all our games, that not exciting but an essential. It will be more exciting if we do actually have that luck we need and do it. Plus its the whole situation at the club, its dead and a massive injection is needed.

But after saying that a very good win at a grave yard for us.
