Ok - big Ozil and Wenger fan and normally very conservative but I really think we need a proper strategy for the club and transfer dealings.

My strategy - long medium term and right off next season as we have to make big changes. To do this we must accept a period of pain.

First - decide on formation / how we will play, My vote is 4 4 2 or 3 4 1 2

We then clear out players and sign the players for the system. Identify 3 players for each position and get the contract team to do their job.

A number of players either don't fit the above, don't play to their strengths in EPL or just don't have the heart to stick around to see the plan out.

Finances - all sales are reinvested plus 100m from reserves. We need to turn players into cash a little better to compete so scouting needs to improve plus be more ruthless in letting players go at the right time.

Wage structure - the clear out will allow us to rethink this and to reward top 2 finishes and give up cash for poor finishes while wages reflect the market so we pay top players well and at a rate that we can dispose of them when needed. Especially applies to squad players.

Clear out:

Debuchy
Jenkinson
Mertesacker
Walcott
Ozil
Chambers
Campbell
Sanogo
Wilshere
Ospina
Gibbs
Santi
sanchez - think he has left us already. If we can turn him then great but if not then sell to highest bidder
Coq
Granit
Gabby
Rambo
Wellbeck

I would like to see some young players blooded and playing more eg Holding

I am clearly over reacting and selling some of the players I like but I want a strategy and our transfers mirror that.

4 4 2 and 3 4 1 2

Victory through harmony and a fortress of a home ground

Scare the crap out of the opposition in the tunnel and destroy them on the pitch

Bite the bullet and be brave - don't care who manages the team if they can do the above.

The board need to grow a set and the manager be managed like an employee

Coaching staff needs to be upgraded - better defence coach and a better attack coach

If our brand struggles to sign players - get ambassadors who will get us players e. g. PV4 and TH14 or DB10

Get Keown managing defence and Henry working on attack

No rose tinted glasses - just want the best for the club long term.

{Ed025's Note - great in principal SY unfortunately you know as well as i do that thats not going to happen, the archaic system will still be at arsenal until arsene departs and the board either changes or decides to invest in the club to the desired level, i wish i could say something different mate but realistically you know im right..

Yep - I know you are right Ed.

My honest opinion is some are going over the top with this player clear out. Yes we need to move some on and yes we definitely need 3 top quality signings but it's more important we get a new manager.

Let him make the signings and see what he can get from this squad because I'm pretty sure they're better than what we are seeing on the pitch right now.

We are just stale and rudderless.

I agree, I do think some players aren't good enough but I also think that some could be brought on by a new manager/ coach. A lot of our players are just naive in the way they play and the things they do and that is down to what they are taught or not taught. Personally I think we have seen the best of giroud, mustaffi, monreal and ramsay, of the starters. We need a complete new central midfield and we don't have the players at the club to improve it and I think we need at least two central defenders, depending which system we play. I still tink there is improvement in walcot, welbeck, ox, holding, gabrial and iwobi of the starters. But a new manager and direction is vital. A new manager with a striker, new midfield, one or two central defenders would with the right guidance have a team to challenge more. But i'm afraid I don't see that being the case if wenger stayed, even if he spent 300 mil. Wenger has to go and ideally so does kronk but i'm sure at least one will still be here next season, it will be a disaster if both are.

Plus it fine to list players who you would like to leave but people forget these players have contracts and these contracts quite rightly protect thier earnings for the length of that contract so getting them to leave won't be easy because many of them could never demand the wages they get with us elsewhere.
We as a club gave them the contacts in respect of both length and wages and if we got it wrong that's our problem not the players, I'm sure we will get as much as we can possibly get for Mesut and Sanchez this summer because that's how the business works and those players we don't want anymore are entitled to do the same regarding us imo.

Gunner nobody wanted, debauchery, cambell, shezny, jenkinson or gibbs, average players at best on too much money. That will be the case again with many this summer. We will get good money for the top two but some of the others are not a good buy for teams. Although, I do wonder who would buy ozil, he would want to go to turkey I don't think, could we get big money from china, I don't think he would go there either.

{Ed001's Note - you know Oezil is of Turkish extraction and could have chosen to play for Turkey or Germany right? So he might want to go to the home of his family.}

I know it's not a computer game and doing what I listed is not possible but my point is we may need to build from the bottom up and challenge the foundations - how we sign players, quality of squad, wage structure, backroom staff, mentality and unity.

I am happy for a crap season if it's one we truly build on and we see the strategy.
We cannot have a fire sale but we may need to take some pain on transfer values to do the right thing long term

It's expensive when a business loses its way and we have. Tough decisions need to be made and we need to be decisive for the benefit of the club.

I like Danny but his touch is poor as is his finishing.
I like Theo but only on his good days. He makes poor decisions and actually doesn't use his pace enough.
I love Ozil but something just isn't right and he isn't performing enough for us to challenge.
I love Sanchez but his hearts gone

We say Wenger is too loyal - well, it's time to be tough and I expect the board to be tough also - just like a FTSE100 board would be if they had their worst year in 20 years and saw competitors overtake them. M and S get ruthless but never fix the problem - let's get tough and build the right foundations.

Ed001 I know but living in turkey in istanbul, playing for a turkish team, I don't think is that appealing. Now germany, yes but to who?

{Ed001's Note - it wouldn't appeal to me, but he might have family in the area and that might appeal to him.}

Outs:
1. Walcott
2. Mertesacker
3. Debuchy
4. Gibbs.
5. One of Giroud or Welbeck. Can't have both of them in the squad.
6. Coquelin
7. Perez
8. Gabriel
9. Ramsey.
10.Jenkinson
11.Sanogo
Get rid of all the above, bring in

1.Mbappe/ Bellotti
2.Arda Turan
3.Idrissa Gueye
4.Kolsinic (can't b worse than Gibbs)
5.Koulibaly if possible

Promote Holding, Iwobi, and Adelaide.
