Is there anyone on here defending Sanchez for diving, if so I have some glasses I can borrow, it was the most embarrassing thing I've seen since rivaldo did it.

Agree1 Disagree1

I love how people will not stick up or get behind some players and manager but are quick to defend Alexis when he does something so silly. Only a small minority tho.

I will defend the fact that he didn't dive! What he did do was play act like he had been hit by a sniper. And I don't believe for one second it hurt him because against West Ham he caught two balls that were drilled at him on his chest and did a little ball juggling afterwards.

Great player who has been absolutely brilliant for Arsenal football club but last night he let himself and the club down badly, one ridiculously stupid embarrassing deplorable incident should not define Alexis Sanchez time with us but it certainly blight's his reputation badly which is sad.
Up until last night if someone used the term " doing a Sanchez ' I'd instantly think of someone working tirelessly and scoring great goals but now if someone said ' he did a Sanchez ' we'd all be thinking of someone throwing themselves on the floor like a spoilt brat trying to get someone else sat on the naughty step, what a shame.

Agree sano he didn't dive, he just did a bit of play acting to try and get the idiot who threw the ball at him sent off. I agree with winterburn, poor reffing and during and after the incident did not show who is in charge.

To be fair Sanchez saw the previous long throwings and it was the only time Leicester looked dangerous. He saw the danger and stoped it. Slightly dirty but the desire to win. He's also the only arsenal player who stands in front of the ball when an opponent wins a free kick to let the team set itself. Top player in my eyes.

Before last night he reminded me of Suarez for all the right footballing reasons but last night he showed the opposite side of that resemblance that no one wants to see imo.

I think both parties should have got a yellow card for ungentlemanly conduct which would have meant Leicester down to 10.

27 Apr 2017 22:30:01
Exactly. I still believe winterburn was correct in saying the referee could've avoided that whole scenario. Did anyone here watch it by any chance. I noticed the ref was w
Waving his hand towards himself and I was thinking is he telling Alexis to get back or Fuchs to get on with taking the throw. Should've gone over and told Alexis to get back 2 metres.

I think you should all get over it. Lots of class players did it before and just to buy time, he's only mistake that he took too long to fall. I thought it was hilarious.

27 Apr 2017 22:36:02
I'd say he dived to the floor acting a fool made himself look a right tit.

It wasn't a dive jelfy, just be pedantic and all but no dive, but embarrassing fairy behaviour yes.
