Ivan Gazidis says the fans will ultimately decide if Arsene stays or goes this summer, I'm more than happy with that.
If the majority of fans still want Arsene to be our manager next season that's exactly what should happen because as much as i don't think Arsene can ever make us competitive again i totally believe in democracy and what the majority want is what should happen even when it's not what i personally would choose.
I'm not sure what the majority of fans want because as vocal as people like myself are about wanting a change of manager the Arsene in fans are often less vocal not because they are less passionate but simply because those who already have what they want tend to less bothered to voice thier opinion unless they position looks under serious threat of changing.
But how do we find out what the majority of Arsenal really want?

i'm not vocal particularly, for me, the in club fighting, Banners on planes and billboards outside the club are embarrassing. In my eyes i think one of two things need to happen.

1. Arsene, let's go of his biggest strength, Loyalty. To his players i mean, Too many average players who aren't up to the task. Especcially the British ones and Home grown.

2. Stands down and let's someone in who can kick the lazy bone idol talentless pre-madonas in the ass and motivate a team of average players.

Wenger will always be a legend in my eyes, I'd like to see him go somewhere he can win the champions league and be remembered for the great manager he is. That is not Arsenal, not with the current board who are just happy to make money.

Which is a bloody stupid statement from IG the board should be able to make their own minds up.

To be fair Banbury mate i think they have and are looking to gauge the reaction to it either way, Arsene is popular they are not so they want to know where they stand.

Personally i think they are all trying to buy time, trouble is time isn't going to help.

I've just read Arsene's comments on his future after the game where he says " I've always been very loyal and committed, i don't know how long i am here but i will continue to be so while i am"
I'm not so sure it's his decision totally if he stays or not but I'm sure he would like to stay if he can.

Gunner foolishly they all thought we would get top four and maybe win fa cup, which would buy them all time but bit by bit the penny is dropping, I think.

He sounds like he's begging to keep his job now.

I have to admit his recent comments certainly sound more like a man trying to convince his employers that he is still worthy of the job rather than just the fans, and they certainly don't sound like comments someone would make if they already knew they had signed a contract extension?
