Hi guys from what i been reading it looks like ozil and sanchez will be sold to give us extra funds to revamp the squad.

Stephen it makes me laugh and cry. We will get no where near what they are worth and the players replacing will not be at there level. Im very worried mate.

I don't blame them for wanting out and wouldn't want them to stay if they don't want to be here.
It's a shame because they are two fantastic players who just found themselves at the right club at the wrong time but hey ho we have far bigger things to sort out than just two players futures it's Arsenal football clubs future that is most important.
Let those who aren't good enough or don't want to be here go and let's start again IMO.

If so all that would happen is we'd have two great players on long term deals who were here for the money not the glory we could offer.
I don't care who owners the club or is the manager of the club as long as they are 100% commitment to ending the groundhog day years and breaking up the cosy club gang.
I see little point in changing the engine yet ignoring a faulty steering wheel that continues to take us round and round in circles mate.

Reports I read simply said contract talks were on hold until the summer when it could well be a new manager doing the negotiations.

With regards to Usmanov, I guess things might improve short term with all his available cash plus the possibility of David Dein returning to the club, but I would have long term concerns over a single owner having total control over the club. Despite our current frustrations with Kronke, he actually only owns appx 67% of the clubs holding co, which is just over double that owned by Usmanov. This means that a) Kronke can't do as he pleases with the club, and b) there are other shareholders still out there (including the Arsenal Supporters trust) and all shares remain listed, which means the holding co has to issue official annual reports and adhere to corporate law. This at least keeps it all as one entity and would prevent Kronke or Usmanov from asset stripping the club (in the unlikely event they ever wished to do so) . For example if Kronke wants to receive a dividend, then all shareholders, including Usmanov, have to be paid the same rate per share. It also keeps the club and the ground together under the parent co. For Usmanov to get control he would need Kronke to sell, which would result in Usmanov having 96%, which is enough shares to compulsory take out all other shareholders (at the same price) under the takeover rules and completely de-list the holding company. Everything then becomes his to do as he pleases, which for example could include a complete separation of the stadium and team if he wished. This is of course all if's and butts, but I am not convinced a single owner is necessarily the way to go for the club.

The squad has needed an overhaul for a while now. We've got lots of average players on relatively high wages, it'd be nice to see some of them moved on and others promoted or new players brought in.
If Alexis and Ozil also want to leave then so be it, but hopefully that doesn't impact on the decisions regarding the futures of other squad players.

I may be wrong but uamanov doesn't own any american sports clubs. Stan does and they win very little. Would wenger be in charge with usmanov in no way he'd be long gone.
I want a single owner its worked for city and chelsea very well.
Ive said for awhile it could take usmanov going to everton for us to go ok we had moshiri and usmanov here and underestimated them.
Id love thoughts on them two guys
And interims of players being here for the cash there here anyway.
Id rather top players on 300k a week then lord bendtner on 52k etc.

If we want the next 2 seasons to be any better than the last 10 seasons we need to do things differently to what we've done for well over a decade now.
You can't keep doing the same old things that have failed so many times before and suddenly expect a successful outcome​ from them.
Arsene isn't going​ to suddenly change his principles and philosophy on how the game should be played or his opinion of the squad he personally assembled.
Any change that doesn't involve a change of Manager is pointless imo as intimately nothing will change where it matters, on the pitch.

If we are ever going to really challenge we need big changes in the ownership, board, manager and coaching. If things stay as they are with Wenger we will just coast along in a gradual decline away from the top level teams. We need a massive injection of cash and do what Chelsea and City had to do and spend big. Problem is now is that there are a lot more teams with bottomless pits money making it harder to compete on the transfer market.
With Sanchez and Ozil in the last year of their contract we will never get back what we paid for them. I reckon about
20-25 million each. So who can we get for that 50Mill mark that will make difference? .
Wenger used to be a step ahead in spotting the young talent before they made a name for themselves but not anymore.

But the worse news is wenger is staying and he is selling them to revamp the squad.
